Ding ding ding! How did everyone do today? I'm down .13%, food stocks continue to sink and I didn't see an opportunity to long. Don't know why I didn't short today, I was literally looking at futures last night thinking we were going to gap up then bleed. Ominous start to the week even though we closed green.
I literally use Robinhood to grow my savings. I had about a grand in there a year ago. If I make a profit over the course of 30 days, whether $50 or $500, I sell and transfer to my savings account. If I don’t, I either let it sit or sell at a loss and throw it somewhere else until I’m in the green.
I make about $350 a month doing this, on top of having a day job. I don’t see the harm really, except taxes.

Seems fine by me. Could put it in vtsax but if the market tanks you'd have to hold off on losing it. I'd go til you get a comfortable amount and then put excess in something safer but invested.
