Well, Pakistan and India are about to engage in nuclear war. The US is angling for another military intervention in Venezuela (Guaido being the complete US puppet that he is, just sold Venezuela's oil reserves to the United States) and Iran (Cuz Israel).
We are seeing the return of regime change and the sign of real weakness in the American economy. Any effect on oil price could destroy the US economy just like it did in the 70s/80s.

This is why I can't in to long hodling. The long hodler rule book says you're supposed to weather out these turns, cost average the lows, etc. I don't have the faith in anything necessary to manage that kind of position. Instead I just switch to bear mode on a dime as a needed.
