Every day I wake up regretting not buying/mining bitcoin 8 years ago when I first heard about it. I can't rid the feeling of despair and hopelessness that comes with knowing I missed my one and only chance to make something of myself. I'm going to be depressed for the rest of my life until I decide to just end it all.

Well think it about it this way, are you regretting every day that you didn't buy lottery tickets?

There is a reason Bitcoin was that cheap. Only anarchists, tech guys and druggies saw something in it. And to be honest it's still nothing. It's like bitching that you missed your chance of getting rich of tullips after the crash

Let it go

> tfw you remember people shilling BTC on Jow Forums back in 2012 but didn’t buy any until January 2018

>Only anarchists, tech guys and druggies saw something in it
Yeah, and those guys are all multimillionaires now. Meanwhile I will always be poor no matter how hard I try at life and how long I continue to wagecuck. What's the point of living if you know it's all for nothing?

>implying you had 10k USD back in 2010 to throw away on some unproven tech
>implying that even if you did buy BTC in 2010 that you would still have all those coins today

Attached: 1545854547434.jpg (477x395, 24K)

Why wouldn't you? Even if you only held onto 1000 btc, which would have cost basically nothing in 2010 and you could have mined on your laptop in a few days, you'd be set for life today.

With the mindset you have you probably would have sold them long before they even hit $100

Well op, you will probably neck yourself this time if you don’t buy link.

Fuck of faggot...it's not that simple you retard. Lets say you bought btc in 2011
Possibility 1: you would have left It on mt.gox
2: transfer to wallet, hard drive dies, you didn't back It up because it's magic internet money anyways
3: you sold a year later for 10x
I bought the eth ico in 2014...and sold in 2016@ 14$....at the top my 50€ could have been 200k.
Stop crying over yourself about missed opportunities because thats how you lose more (present time) opportunities

Kek'd and REKT

Just buy chainlink now.
Its 42 cents right now and will be several hundreds maybe thousands in the future per token.
so whats your excuse this time?

You are missing the 4th industrial revolution this time OP.
Unless you get your ducks in a row.

He will never get his Ducks in a row, he didn't bother with DYOR on BTC back then, he didn't bother doing the research on ETH, he won't bother doing his own research on Chainlink.
LINK is like BTC or ETH in his face every day and people tell him to buy, people try to inform him but he just does not listen to anyone.
He is too filled with regret and he is too emotional. he will forever dwell on his missed opportunities.
He also lacks the foresight, the patience and he can't take any risks because he was raised like that, raised to be a sucker that buys the top everytime and he regrets and regrets and regrets forever til he dies, his last thoughts will be regret.

Attached: you didnt all in.jpg (1180x1030, 378K)

This is exceedingly vindictive. How can you do this to the guy I know this is Jow Forums and we joke around a lot but that user is clearly down on his luck and just made a couple of mistakes in his life.

People are constantly warning people not to buy chainlink but this is an obvious emotional appeal to try and get him to buy in at a low point in his life.

Chainlink has nothing to offer, its promises to deliver a product when non of the surrounding infrastructure is ready to support it. Getting people to buy chainlink now is like telling people to buy car company stocks before roads have been built or petroleum synthesized.

There is no way of knowing if chainlink will be the company that delivers the car when the roads are ready. NO WAY and it is exceedingly looking like they won't deliver.

I see lots of post about DYOR and " partnerships" non of those partnerships are official in any way, chainlink is unknown outside of Jow Forums, Sergey gives speeches to empty halls, literally nobody knows or cares about chainlink not because its under the radar but because it was in radar and nobody fucking saw it as a treat.

DON'T BUY CHAINLINK its current price is 2019 ATH and it will dump on mainnet like literally every other crypto, you know why? because when mainnet goes live nobody can use it because the infrastructure to support it isn't ready.

This. LINK niggers will burn and be a laughing stock for years to come.

>Every day I wake up regretting not buying/running nodes on Chainlink 8 years ago when I first heard about it from a bunch of autistic neets on a vietnamese pancho knitting forum. I can't rid the feeling of despair and hopelessness that comes with knowing I missed my one and only chance to make something of myself. I'm going to be depressed for the rest of my life until I decide to just end it all.

here, i fixed that to the latest version of missed opportunities for you.

About what?

If you didn't mine/buy 8 years ago, you would have sold or lost your coins.
>t. here 8 years ago

>be paranoid anarchist type that distrusts banks and constantly rants about the FED
>mine 200 BTC with the intent to never sell between 2011-2014
>PC gets stolen in a burglary in 2016
>spend all my pocket money on buying a better PC and a security system for my house
>see BTC moon while I only have 5 BTC
>have to listen to normies constantly say 'DUDE I WAS ALMOST LIKE ABOUT TO BUY SOME X YEARS AGO'

Fuck you, get in the JUST'd line, you're way behind people like me. The absolute front of the line is people who sent their BTC to the wrong address.

Everyone know crypto is a scam already.

This OP is the WORST kind-of person.

Its your lack of IQ. If your small brain would only be able to see the big picture. You can buy bitcoin for around 70$ at the moment. Go figure the rest out on your own brainlet

Attached: 0A2B0F48-86AE-4950-97E7-5BE5D1F87354.jpg (1694x1400, 214K)

why aren't you mining now?

i make about 3 bucks a day on my 1080 ti SLI PC

get paid in btc and then buy shitcoins and wait for the singularity. virtually free money!

This. If I had known about it in 2010 there's no way I would've bought more than $100 worth of it. Still would've been nice though.

Because I live in a first world country where $3 won't even buy you a small coffee.

Mining is buying with extra steps

Attached: pickle.jpg (640x480, 24K)

why do you even bother posting fud?
don't you understand my post?

OP has a condition, his mental problems prevent him from making it.

Attached: nocoiner OP gets bullied by mooning btc eth and link and chainlink whispers to him he will never mak (720x406, 2.46M)

And lower fees or at a profit.

see this is what I'm talking about, he absolutely lacks the foresight.
>these $3 in btc right now could be more in the future
this is too hard for him to grasp.
and of course the risk is too high that if he mines and it dumps that his mommy will get upset about the electricity bill and make him pay his share.

Source pls.

And safer, you're not going to get exchange exit scammed when mining. You can take every precaution in the world, but every millisecond your money is on an exchange it's at risk.

Unirontically this. I had 250btc back in the day. It was worth less than a penny. 250 was actually $1.00 worth bought it after realizing my shitty college mobile GPU couldn't mine for shit. Forgot it and lost the key by 2010-2011ish. If I would have kept the key probably would have dumped at 10 or even 100 a coin. Would have never made that 20k peak.

The earlier you'd bought Bitcoin the earlier you'd sold. No one held from the beginning all the way to the top! You missed out on a couple of grand at the most.

You'd have to be a real retard to sell every last one of your btc after seeing it increase in value by that much. There isn't even any logic in that. Even if you wanted to maximize your profits and sell as much as possible, you would still have kept something like 10% of it, and that 10% would still be worth millions today.

i know the same feeling. i had a friend that i rarely talked to about computers (because we were in a hacking group in hs) i talked to back in 2009 tell me about bitcoin. well, back then i had lost my interest in computers and was just a drug addict. fast forward to a couple years ago, we actually meet up (at this point i still hadnt bought any crypto) and he explains to me how much bitcoin he has. he literally hasnt talked to me since and wont answer my calls. he literally just wanted to rub it in my face then btfo me. fucking faggot. i bet he posts here all the time.

FUCK YOU AARON GENTLES FROM TN

>with knowing I missed my one and only chance to make something of myself.
learn to code

>I'm going to be depressed for the rest of my life until I decide to just end it all.
kys

so you wouldn't want an extra $90 a month in crypto for running your computer?

hardly

ive got 380 GH/s with GPU rigs
and around 260 TH/s with ASIC's

there is almost nothing that is profitable to mine right now
my rigs have been powered down for months
dont fucking talk to me about mining

let me tell you something you fucking crybaby, even if you bought/mined a considerable amount of bitcoin in 2010-2011 more then likely one if not all of what listed would happened to you, i know this for sure because its exactly what happened to me, all of it.

i found out about bitcoin in 2010 and kinda gave up on mining it because it was slow on my shitting computer at the time (couple of days/btc) but still i had a few dozens in my possession, you know what happened to them?

mt.gox fucked me over, then cryptsy ran with some of my btc and doge (fuck you big john), then my laptop fried taking some more shitcoins with it, then i bought ETH early when it was shilled on Jow Forums as the next big thing, still remember the threads, "you just need 1000 eth to make it" well i listened and bought 1000 eth real cheap, then guess what? the fucking DAO got hacked and everyone though it was fucking OGRE, money was being drained 24/7 from the contract and the only was to fix it was for vitalik to fork eth which at the time was a big deal and could have killed the coin, so i like many others dumped.

in 2017 i did well for myself and by jan 2018 i had 200k worth of shitcoins, guess what i did then? held to the fucking bottom.

now all i got left is my fat stack of LINK and IM NOT FUCKING SELLING!

Attached: devastated_feel.png (482x427, 176K)

Listen if you dumb fucks.
The next big thing is CRISPR.

If you don't buy editas stock (ticker: edit) then you are going to regret it.

Imagine how many diseases can be cured with genetic engineering. Now imagine a company that holds a valuable patent in it!

Secure your wallet this time user! How much are you hodling?

>erection in progress

>held to the bottom

why tho, why not sell when it was tanking?

nigger the guy behind it is under investigation for altering dna without approval. i do agree its a revolutionary concept though

Hindsight is 20/20 you greedy jew. Lurk more and you’ll know which is /ourcoin/, faggot

Buy ltc

hey op you can stop feeling depressed about being dumb

just do like this guy
and keep telling yourself everyone who foresaw where bitcoin is heading are just lottery winners and got lucky

OR

you can now buy into bitcoin/crypto. final marketcap is in the hundreds of trillions (current USD value), tho it may get hundreds of years for us to get there. but exponential bullruns are bound to happen until that day.

this guy knows

OR this

reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3v1qv5/488_btc_was_stolen_from_me_but_how/

bitcoin was a lot harder to hold onto before the time of hardware wallets. mt. gox with 2fa was probaly the most secure solution (storing coins on your computer was subject to trojans etc) and look what happened.
lot of trojans just looked for the folder core wallet stored the data and took it. guarded by password? ez keylogger

>simply WOW !

In 2011 I did an internship and with the money I built my first proper pc with a decent graphics card. I was discussing it with a friend on the internship and he mentioned using it to mine Bitcoin. I looked in to it, but I'm a brainet and didn't understand it one bit. I think it was also around the time Bitcoin had pumped to a couple of hundred dollars, and I didn't understand you didn't have to buy a whole Bitcoin at a time, so I thought it was very expensive. The closest I got was creating a gox account and nearly bought, but I couldn't find a way to pay which I was comfortable with, as 90% of Bitcoin stuff online said it was a scam. Ultimately never went through with it.

100% certain that if I'd bought I'd have lost it all on gox. I also think for the same reasons I didn't buy then, if a similar opportunity presented itself to me now and I had a similar level of knowledge about it; it would play out the same - I'd end up not buying. I don't believe it's just down to luck like that "Anne works minimum wage vs bob mined bitcoins" cartoon. Those who bought in the early days had either the technical competence or the ability to accept risk. I did not, and ultimately most likely still dont.

If I’d bought bitcoin when I first heard about it I’d probably be dead by now because I used to be a massive degenerate. I’m glad I’ve only started buying (chainlink) since last spring desu.

Bro you're retarded, and that's the real reason why you're forver going to wagecuck. Everyone, including myself, who had BTC back in 2011, fucking sold or lost them. Everyone thought it was dead when the march 2013 bubble popped. Everyone thought it was dead for sure when Gox popped. Exchanges were constantly going down and taking people's BTC with them. Most of us sold early. There are very, very few people that held the whole time, most of which did so completely by accident.

Just finally kill youself in 3 years when we are past 100k and you were crying instead of buying the bottom.

the only thing worse than regretting not being an early adopter, is tricking yourself into thinking you still are, by buying shitcoins like link, bcash, or any number of worthless infinite alts

I'm in the same boat fren. I used to mine BTC on a dual core amd athlon 64bit processor back in 2009. Enough to never have to worry about money every again for generations to come... Those bitcorns will never be retrieved and i will never make it as a late adopter now.....

Attached: 1535717064842.jpg (629x505, 33K)

The thing is, you actually made the correct decision. Bitcoin is and was a useless piece of technology and borderline scam, and only stupid people bought it. It was the lottery that mouth-breathing retards won.

this thread is the reverse of survivorship bias
retards arguing everyone would have sold/lost their coins to cope with their own retardatation
fact is anyone behaving rationally never sells 100% of an asymmetric opportunity, they keep part of it on the offchance it goes places
