THE CHAINLINK NETWORK

Blockchain agnostic? Kek
Technology agnostic. Some of you still haven't grasped the concept of data decentralization and off-chain computation

Oracles will never work cause the input can be faked. Imagine a UPS guy just giving the info that he delivered something into the oracle and is lying. Linkies btfo

ARE YOU EVEN TRYING FAGGOT?

lol try to debunk this. Pro tip: you can not. The total state of a stinky

>He doesn't know UPS men are extremely religious and are picked because of piousness and would fear hell and damnation if they lied.

Literally saying modern day saints are going to lie.

Link is just a dying project. Mainnet delayed until 2020... unbelievable

Thaïs thé shore point or Chainlink fren

If they are niggers, yes

Banks will never work cause the input can be faked. Imagine a bank teller guy just giving the info that a customer withdrew money, but really he’s lying and pocketing the cash. Banks btfo

Not the same, try harder idiot

This new guy is just larping truth is there is no mainnet. Shadow fork is real check the pivotal it's an epic. Read the comments on the fork to-dos and its just Sergey Steve and Thomas laughing.

Keep the n word out of your fucking mouth, racist. You are the scum of the earth.

Back to plebbit with you

Degen, stay away from kids

Indeed and they hold LINK

This can be mitigated with iot sensors, GPS, and computer vision. These feeds are pointless to use for enforcement of delivery without decentralized oracles feeding such data to smart contracts. You think Amazon sends you pictures of packages on your doorstep to be cute? They are likely preparing for the 4th industrial revolution like the rest of us

That's not what smart contracts are ment for. There's is no contract between you and the courier. You just have to trust the old fashioned PoW/PoS - the courier will stay honest because of the risk and the hassle involved in scamming. But there is a contract between the sender and UPS. And there's a contract between you and the sender. Imagine If these contracts could be made working in the internet? And if there was a way to feed the contract with data needed for the execution?

Yes, all the data sources involved in the example, the sender, the courier and you (a bank and maybe SWIFT if there's fiat involved) are single point of failures. There's no way out of that. But there could be also sources that can be truly decentralized, example in case there's currency conversion needed.

What's even more important - and the reason it's very hard not be all in- is that you can be sure that if all the conditions of the contract are met and everybody's happy, the contract will get that information, untampered. Think of orcacle network as a network of virtual typists inputting the data to the smart contract vending machine. It's much better to have thousands of them than just one who is easily bought or can simply make a mistake. It's a hard concept to grasp because old fashioned contracts are immune to this. If the contract is tampered or there's a mistake it can be changed before the execution. Smart contract will execute itself immediately when the data about about meeting the conditions is met. It really is vending machine and you can't shove the can back in if you wanted Sprite but accidentally pressed Coke.

>fallin for b8

>bagholder cope

are you an idiot? you do realize your on biz?...home of chainlink wtf are you talking about we havent realized lmao

do you mean data wouldn't be the only source of revenue for node operators, as they'll also be responsible for computation?

bridge between legacy systems and dlt?

Since sgx isnt very processing intensive, fog computing with sgx?
