When they realized Synth had locked the wallets, they lost faith in the project because a blockchain is not meant to be centralized. Synth couldn't unlock their funds, so he gave them 8 btc and some sky as compensation, even though at the time the value of the coins was less than $100,000. He then left the country like a bitch.
