>had several girlfriends, even got laid a few times
>had high expectations. Got a full scholarship
Fast forward to now
>21 years old
>thinks crypto will solve all problems
>piece of shit car
>signs of alcoholism
>stay up til 3am daily
>lost scholarship, failing half of classes while barely passing the other classes
>friends are fading away, no gf for several years
I thought the doomer was just a meme until I became one. Who else here is doomed?

This describes me, but I think more people are becoming doomers than you think. It's a direct result of our current society. Porn, social media, social isolation, the job market and economic situations are destroying our society.
It's not normal for perfectly healthy young men to feel like this and it is that way because the cards are stacked against us.

Part of the doomer archetype is caused by how our society works, pushing people out of communities and shaking them around so they're most efficiently economically placed, which is also theoretically in their best financial interest I might add, until you account for how not having good friends likely makes you less productive and more weightily less happy

But the bloomer phase can only be achieved once one has gone through the ordeals of adulthood and has been a doomer

I was a bloomer until I got fired. I had lots of friends and even had a sitcom style friendship with the guy that sat next to me at work. I was fired mid 2017 because I couldnt focus on work because of crypto. I thought I'd make it without the job anyways. Now all my hopes are gone and my old friends wont talk to me anymore.
