What I mean by that is people only trade cryptos for fiat or other cryptos, and don't use it as a currency to purchase physical goods or services

The crypto that exist now is useless. When adoption happens, businesses won't be using Bitcoin or whatever shit that exists now. The large companies would be rolling out their solutions while smaller companies would use something that hasn't been compromised with illegal activity, like CP.
