just 300k

go back to r

>I lost 300k

why is every JUST'd trader think they're so entitled.

if you didn't realize the gains, it was never your fucking money. sure you had the option to cashout 300k at ATH, but you never did, so that money was never realized and never really yours to begin with.

next time, cash out a lamborghini when you get rich off literal internet meme coins.

should have bought chainlink

Fucking this. You should measure how much you're up/down from your initial investment.

because he had an OPPORTUNITY to sell for 300k more than he has now
also could have sold and had 200k more, and 100k more

I also lost a lot of money in 2018, no where near OP, but I'm not going to delude myself into believing that I didnt lose that money because I never realized it when I absolutely could have.

this really is the dumbest fucking investment board on the internet.
OP I know dozens of people that lost much more than you did, some unironically ruined. 300k aint the end of the world

you two retards arent going to make it with this kind of thinking

where'd you get the 300k to begin with?

>"i lost 300k"

did you have 300k ever in your bank account for even one day ?

>no

then fuck off with "i lost 300k",

unrealized gains do not count as realized losses. r e t a r d.

did you have an opportunity to sell your crypto for 300k and transfer to your bank account?

>yes

then he literally lost 300k if he held. every day when you hold you are making a decision to not sell to fiat. and every day it was the wrong decision. thus, he lost 300k dumbfuck

sounds like you lost a lot of money and are too embarrassed to face the fact that at any moment you could have sold to fiat and salvaged what you had

>having 300k to gamble
>pink wojack when you lose it
Fuck off newfag

if youre still holding youre still in the trade, so the fluctuation in percentages no matter how high it goes, it still means nothing, unless you realize them. until you have realized them, the gains are not yours. Thats the way I measure them, whatever meme measurement you want to use go for it.

>sounds like you lost a lot of money

nice projection.

Unless you're a millionaire, then why would you invest 300K into a market you didn't understand? For low market cap coins like NTS, Beam, Grin ect I invest a small amount and scalp trade for profits. Buy low sell high for long term strategies, but don't buy an asset at an ATH.

I'm doing just fine financially. High 6 figures in my mid 20s because I didn't gamble away all my money like you degenerates. As you said, he had the opportunity to sell and have 100k more. So why not measure it from there? Why measure it from ATH? The reason why most of you retards had such a high ATHs was because you never practiced proper risk management before that. Of course you weren't going to cash out at ATH.

And most of you didn't take any profits on the way down either. It's like listening to a roulette player crying about turning his $1k into $50k and then losing all of it.
> 2x your money
> zero risk management, not taking any profits
> 10x+ your money
> still zero risk management, not taking any profits
> at some point your luck runs out
> still zero risk management, not taking any profits
> lose a sizeable % of your profits
> still zero risk management, not taking any profits
> lose most of your profits
> still zero risk management, not taking profits
> lose all your profits and more
> still zero risk management
Boo fucking hoo.

is that all?

Kek you know nothing

thats it?

You didn't lose it if you didn't sell. If your investment is truly as good as you believe it is, then it should recover and be worth even more in the next bull run.

Don't feel too bad man, I lost about 150k recklessly trading stocks.

I felt like an idiot and so embarrassed about it whenever my family would bring it up.

But I got a decent job and slowly and working my way back, i should tick over 100k savings next month even after a big trip in Europe and a few toys.

You're not the only one to lose big though, my uncle was a property developer and told me he lost 700k on a big project, and I was reading an article about husband and wife putting their retirement buying coffee shop and other retail franchises and ended up losing 500k.

Now I just stick with term deposit in the bank, cash deposited at end of term, not mucking around trying to con someone into buying imaginary things off you.

Hahahahhahaa enjoy being a normie fagget

Same here user 350k + years of my life
