I highly recommend going on a carnivore diet. It’s tasty, simple -and you can eat as much as you want.
First meal: eggs bacon and steak or ground beef patties with mustard
Second meal: ribeye or ground beef patties with salmon on side
Once in ketosis you body will lose urges to ingest sugars, it’s an incredible thing

Literally all you need to do is stop eating crap food. Change your diet to mainly contain lean meat, veggies and (maybe) some fish and stop eating processed crap.
That process shit is addicting and lean meat sucks. Veggies are boring.

sauteé some chicken with garlic, onions, asparagus and a little bit of grass fed butter to keep it from sticking to the pan. Steam some spinach and white rice on the side. This shit is literally so easy and tastes so good, it just takes more effort than say chocolate cereal or microwaving jimmy deans. Cook the food. Trust me.

You can make healthy food taste great. You have just gotten too used to everything having to taste fat or sweet. But yes, unhealthy food is highly addicting, and it's by no means easy to turn your life around. I'm just telling you what you need to do. If you don't have the willpower to change then there isn't much I can say to help. It's like trying to help a heroin addict who doesn't want help.
The main problems in most westerners diets' are too many carbs (dairy, bread, pasta, cheese, soda etc.) and too much processed food.
And I'm not saying you have to cut out bread or cheese entirely, most healthy people eat them in moderation. Just be more conscious about the food you eat and try to avoid those things more. Also, as said, don't do some kind of meme diet that you can't maintain long term. And yes, it will be difficult/painful to lose weight at first, but after a couple of months it gets A LOT easier.
I think its better off fatter to try low carbs/eat bacon. Protein helps makes you less hungry. Portion control is harder for people who are already overweight.
Right, I agree. Carbs is the main problem for most fat people. I have never been very fat, but last year I was definitely overweight. I cut back 75%+ on "bad" carbs (bread, cheese, pasta, soda etc.) and starting seeing results after a month. Carbs aren't necessarily bad in moderation, but they don't make you feel full.
