You are now aware that the meager economic gains from this lifestyle are by far not worth the hardship incurred by not having a real dwelling place. Even buying a plot of cheap land among the cornfields and parking an old RV on it (no electricity except maybe solar, no running water, bottled propane for heat and cooking) would be comfy as fuck compared to living out of a car.

Literally any van that runs and you can stand in will do, maybe get one that looks like a generic work van on the outside so you can park in a city with a bit less of a chance of being brutalised by undesirables.

the whole point of living in a van or truck is you can travel and go to different locations. you are allowed to camp for free in every national forest. Most of them have hundreds of miles of access roads to explore and you can camp anywhere along them.
