How's the job search?
How's the job search?
How is this possible? Web development is required for literally the entire internet.
if you have any gaps in your job history, recruiters treat you like the plague. so you maybe you get an interview ,but the other 3 candidates don't have job gaps, so they choose them. Then repeat forever, because they always have at least 3 candidates for each position before they start interviewing.
Every brainlet that can rub 2 neurons together can make a website nowadays and even then you'd have to outcompete with H1B Pajeets and diversity hires.

Gee, wonder what happened at those jobs. Maybe he should stick to QA until he stops being bad at development.
are you implying he was fired? because he wasn't. people are so judgmentally dumbfuck when hiring it pisses me off to no end.
>casarez
maybe he should just get the fuck back down south where he belongs
Same it is a complete boomer mindset, where they just mindlessly and comfortably worked at the same place for their entire careers and made an upper middle class life out of it, probably by starting out bagging groceries or selling tires. the generational gap is real.
He got caught jerking off into his roastie coworker tumbler
>boomer mindset
its just basic business sense. if you always have many more multiples of people applying than jobs to go around, why would you ever consider hiring somebody with a flaky record that would leave you looking to hire somebody else again?
because they had charisma in the interview and tricked their boomer fucking asses, who you're about to tell you're quitting after your first year because instead of the mandatory 1.5% raise each year you can get a nice 15-20% raise.
Why don't these people just lie?
well, i did for the first time today. I told them I was laid off, and he seemed to like that answer better than the normal "I was tired of working 55 hours a week with no paid overtime".
at first i thought that was a fine answer, but i guess not. Then i was worried they'd check against my employer, but i guess i'll find out.
It's becoming more difficult to get away with considering all your data is mined online.
There are even companies that will do background checks on your references now.
job search is fucking shit thanks bro wanna know why?
>live in Bay where everyone is now nonwhite so "like me" complex is out the door.
>32 entrepreneur most of life with 2-year job gaps
>business degree with no "tech" experience
>look too clean and dressed too nice to even get a job selling weed, tatted up Vietnamese wont even talk to me
people make fun of me because good looking white dude and my "time is up"
i might just go teach, fuck it. fukkkkkk
it's a win-win though
if they want loyal workers they should stick to ditch-digging industry and ditch-digging employees
otherwise if I outperform you consider yourself replaced by someone who can provide a challenging job
out of kitchen afraid of heat and whatnot
the point is they don't need to stick to anything, they have so many people desperate for work they can pick and choose whoever they want.
>live in bay
i found your problem you retard.
>they have so many people
>they can pick and choose
lol no they don't and they can't
those desperate are not competent
those competent are not desperate
it stops being a numbers game right after initial contact
i have a job but my company is circling the drain and i've been looking for a new one for a long time. the last interview i got was december 2017.
same
they employed me "before someone else does"
didn't think much of it and now I need to get back to the search
yeah they do, each position has 100 applicants. then they interview 3-5 people... competency is not a problem when you have such a large pool to work with.
>each position has 100 applicants
depends on location though, but I get your point
still, it's a step-by-step process
first you apply to 100 positions
then you interview 3-5 potential employees
and pick the most competent
my goal, for example, is to find a job that'll maintain and keep raising my own standards
>employees
employers
Those are different positions at the same company, you brainlet. He was promoted.
live in me inherited home
Easy problem to solve. Sell your inherited home to whoever the fuck pays over 1 million dollars for a condemned cuckshed in San Francisco, move to someplace reasonable and fucking retire on the money you made.
This. I'm needing to hire more outsourced Gopniks because I've got more work than I can handle and this guy can't get a job? It's like being broke in the California gold rush ffs.
Those are decent length contracts, what the fuck is wrong with you?
That guy literally has a better resume than me and I have a job.
>Silicon Valley
Yeah, that place is dead.
people realize he isn't homeless and is just marketing himself on a novel way, right? I did this in Vancouver to get a job six years ago.
I like how she posted his phone number
that's pretty weak for 4+ years. Is this what zoomers are passing off as qualifications? There's zero chance what he's listing on the left has any depth to it based on looking at what he's highlighting.
I'm waiting for my background check to go through
i noticed it said something like
>as well as lifestyle, general traits, etc.
what the fuck does that mean and what would it look like on a background/ criminal check?
The field is oversaturated as fuck and the wages get lower each year.
