You have to network. No one applies for jobs anymore, you need to know someone who can offer you one. try a career fair. Good luck user
You need more experience. :^)

The Midwest job market is a total crap shoot.
The military can give you experience in accounting if you want to go that route. You should also keep an eye out for those jobs that put you "on track" to becoming a manager, even if it's at like a grocery store.
I have to ask though. What was your GPA. What uni did you go to? Did you do any internships? What were you planning/hoping to do after graduation?
East or west coast? Do you have a drug history?
>How do I get a good paying job with an economics degree
>economics degree
Sorry man, your degree is in that dark patch of the degree spectrum where it is not technical enough to have taught you real skills used in industry, and not academic enough to give the impression that you are smart just by virtue of having the degree.
If you want to do I hope you did something else while in college so you can flaunt that in your resume because if you think an economics degree will be the ticket to a job then... you don't know enough about economics and the current job market.
I have no drug history on the west coast
If you manage to get good internships while you're an undergrad, and / or have a masters degree as well, it's not so bad. In general though it does appear that the best possible outcome tends to be working as a bank teller.

Apply for all Financial/Business/Data Analyst positions. They pay a decent amount & there's normally a decent amount of entry level roles within that title. You can also apply for Staff Accountant positions if you hate yourself.
Do you have any work experience at all?

I’mma graduate from an economics degree this year. Rushing to get an internship somewhere so I’m not completely unemployable. Fuck, might have to do grad school. I kind of don’t want to.
