Will there be a rapid moon, or a gradual Golden Bullrun moon?

I wouldn't put too much weight in Brendan actually knowing when things will be released. Remember this is the guy who kept claiming ads were coming before EOY and claiming that he still thought he would win his bet. I harassed him on Twitter in December and said he would lose his bet. He replied that his bet still had a couple months left and that he was still confident. He obviously knows nothing about timing, release, price, etc.

>harassed him on twitter.

It's great how literal nothings now have a voice they can use to harass accomplished, tech geniuses. Social media was a god damn mistake.

Disagree, it keeps everyone honest.

God you're pathetic. Brendan has done more in his life than you could ever hope to accomplish. Please sell all your BAT immediately you cuckold.

"honest"
Motherfucker you should be on your knees sucking his dick for what he's done to advance tech.

I am, he's completely reshaping the internet and much more. But all I'm saying is that all people in power should be accessible like that to maintain transparency and accountability.

For instance look at how he responds to criticism vs THE REAL SATOSHI. That should tell you all you need to know about the validity of brave, and SV....

> *honking with my ducks in a row*

But seriously he actually turns most trolls into followers, which says a lot about him and his team. Brave will be the new standard browser for everyone by 2020.

But also make sure you use the Tor browser for a lot of cleartext surfing when possible. That's just as important as a standalone browser too because it confuses *them*.

>But seriously he actually turns most trolls into followers, which says a lot about him and his team

True, that's a good point. This is what I like about the Brave team. They respond to criticism in the best way of any crypto project I've seen. They're always trying to improve and fix any issues that people have with the project.

There are completely fucking irrational people out there, like the one dude who was upset that people were donating BAT to him without his permission. Totally fucking irrational. But Brave responded beautifully to that, realized that this could be seen as a "privacy issue," and changed Brave's system accordingly.

That's a team you can put your faith in - they're transparent, helpful, and determined to get it right.

Ya Tom Scott came out looking kind of silly after that exchange. Honestly I don't fault him though, in hindsight it was an overreach for Brave to automatically allow contributions to folks who weren't verified.

I understand why they did it as they thought it was going to be a good driver for adoption, but what they didn't account for was that people are so wary these days because of privacy infractions by big corps, that anything like what Brave was doing is instantly met with suspicion.

But just wait, Tom Scott is going to be the first big youtuber to shill when v1 rolls out. Also the powder keg is primed and ready to go against Facebook, Google et al when it comes to leaving platforms. Literally all good faith by those companies have been erased in the past year or two with all the data violations coming to light.

Personally I think we don't even know the half of it, but when we do its going to be ugly for those companies stock prices, so place your shorts accordingly there as well. Also don't forget to short SNAP. But then again idk shit.

Jesus I sound like csw with my grammatical structure. Sorry for the confusing post. Vaping on some wedding cake rn.

>t. degenerate stoner

The facebook, google duopoly is gobbling up the whole market and there are tons of other players in this market who are tired of it.

Dont be surprised if you see Verizon/Brave partnership. Verizon acquired yahoo and aol for an ad play and they are being strangled by adblockers and the duopoly.

this is the most obvious shill thread I've seen in awhile.

Agreed, they've burned a lot of bridges and have been disgustingly arrogant about it. Their comeuppance is coming soon with the help of Brave. We're about to live through another tech bubble burst with FB and Alphabet leading the way (followed by SNAP and maybe Twittter). Amazon will be fine though, honestly I don't really have beef with Jeff. He aight. He builds some cool ass stuff too. I saw the Blue Origin launch vehicle at an airshow last year. Shit was cool.

> "Don't be Evil"
> Fuck you google
> thanks for reading my blog

I have a shit ton worth of BAT, of course I'm shilling. But honestly users aren't going to lead adoption here, the companies advertising on the platform are. They're getting much high interaction metrics on Brave and they want to see their advertising budget be put to good use.

> but user my fraud and clickfarms

You all don't seem to understand, that's the power of this platform. Because Brave is a closed ecosystem, and advertisers and publishers get tangible returns on ad views/interaction no matter what, then even if a click farm is being utilized just to get BAT, its actually making the ecosystem stronger. Also the ML algo's are pretty slick from what I've seen, so even if someone is just clicking to get BAT they're still be served ads that are actually relevant to their lives, so that really doesn't scare me personally.

And finally, you never have to see ads if you don't want to. Ever. Why wouldn't you use a browser with built in ad/tracker blocking that doesn't phone home to Brave AND has built in Tor tabs? If you're really picky go ahead and download Ublock or other blocking extensions. Its actually celebrated by the team.

And also Google is going to discontinue a lot of ad blocking extensions in the next release. So get ready for that.

>I have a shit ton worth of BAT, of course I'm shilling.
stopped reading after this

And just to head it off at the pass you all realize what open source software means right? Ironically Google building chrome did most of the work for Brave already. They just took all the shit that phoned home to google and stripped it out. Which they can easily do because a) they're professional software developers and can ready code and b) there are people on that team (outside of Brendan) who were at NetScape, AOL and even Mosaic before the word Google was even uttered. They know how to build a browser without it being compromised by any hidden code.

Its not that hard to read x86....

I don't give a fuck. Don't buy a cent worth of BAT, I really don't care. Imma be aight.

Damn, that's spooky as fuck. Will I be able to use my extensions on other chromium browsers like BAT and ungoogled chromium or will all chromium based browsers render adblock and anti-paywall extensions defunct?

You're an idiot, but it's totally fine if you want to keep ignoring Brave/BAT. I figure it'll be another few years before Brave really makes it big but it's already gaining traction.

The truth it, Brave/BAT is exciting because it could change the whole online experience. Opt-in advertising is fucking genius, and the crypto factor should make anyone on Jow Forums excited. It's a game changer.

but yeah you're a dumbass and should fuck off, also nobody gives a shit what posts you read/don't read lmao stop fucking blogging in this thread brainlet

The implications of that partnership would be absolutely astounding. Imagine a browser partnering with a telco. That's fucking crazy no regardless if its good or bad. That's pretty unprecedented desu senpai.

> sick of doing these mother fucking captcha's. Seriously fuck google.

I honestly have no idea. No one's really saying much about this yet. But I really don't see a reason for it not to happen, they're getting bled dry by adblockers. They're fucked either way.

Oh my bad, ya you can for sure use it on the Brave browser. They encourage it because they know they can't catch everything right now. I see them going after the uBlock O team if google does hobble their extension. If uBlock stops supporting google that would be a pretty big nail in their coffin.

And other browsers that don't pull the new google update. But I see the new chromium based Edge being a type of backdoor partnership between google and MS. They're going to data-mine the shit out of us.

The beauty about OSS is that if you know how to maintain a project you don't need a monolithic company like google to hold your hand. Look no further than Tor. Sure it has its issues but there's a lot of really smart people out there who really take privacy serious. So even if someone doesn't use Brave I would really hope they use a privacy based browser just on principle.

yeah, keep shilling and it might stop going down.

>Brave/BAT is exciting
fuck off with your shill speak. talk like a real person and I might listen.

Shit you're actually right.

> thanks just sold 130k

>ya you can for sure use it on the Brave browser.
Thanks, that makes things far less dystopian. Guess I'm hoarding all the .crx's of my extensions tonight, can't risk google mass banning/blocking my extensions from chrome leaving me high and dry. I'll probably buy BAT now that they're taking the nuclear option against adblock.

I only use Tor for darknet markets really. Beyond that it's annoying to use and I can't put an autistic amount of extensions on it for general browsing because it'll make my fingerprint too unique to trackers.

get the fuck out of the thread, nobody cares if you're "listening" you dumbfuck

>basic attention

Brave is a great browser, but BAT is a worthless funding ICO token.

Agreed.

You may very well be right. Its a completely new concept (regardless of the Netzero ads attempt) and no one knows if its going to work. And anyone that says otherwise is either a shill or has completely drank the moonboi kool-aid. We'll just have to wait and see.

These fags talking back forth to each reads like a pre written play script makes me question bat. These rehearsed scripts are huge warning sign

> he hasn't been reading about BAT and Brave for over a year

Also let me make it loud and clear folks. This token WILL NOT MOON! Its a slow burn and we'll see it around $2 by 2022 if everything goes well.

And what shit projects have you bought into to make you so suspicious. This is a real company that is really accountable to US VC's. Do some DD on your own. Don't take our word for it.

If it continues to follow btc as closely as it has done for the last 1.5yrs then it'll moon.

checked

Honestly, you're wasting his fucking time asking him questions.
