If you're gonna go armed services do Navy or Foreign Legion. Navy is alright because you can study for their test and get a solid job with a set future ("your rate determines your fate"). Foreign legion teaches you a second language, pays a little better, and lets you actually see the world -- not the inside of a tin can or a bloodsoaked desert.
