there is definitely no 'attention check' on the ads implemented by the way. You can open them and immediately close them and get the same reward. Also every ad is the same price right now. However, I'm sure this is just the beginning

While I haven't confirmed yet, presumably this is just because it's a pre-release dev version, it's not even working right for many people, myself included. I doubt they want to risk accidentally dumping fat stacks of BAT on people while they're still actively developing it, and making just over half a penny over each hour would obviously be ludicrous even by Indian standards.

I'm researching BAT heavily for the first time. I am in pretty heavy with a competitor JSE, but I like how BAT works for a completely different reason. BAT sells a browser, but JSE just mines with javascript. Both are solutions to annoying ads.

I use brave mobile and its great. Used to take ages to open on desktop, but the newer version I grabbed is super slick so instantly switched over. Only qualm I have is the mediocre logo, but it has grown on me over the months and is not a big deal to begin with. Actual quote from my mother - "why don't you just use brave?"
