Because ETH can't scale so a second layer is needed, and no one gives a fuck about your weird stablecoins. Limited supply incentivizes people to hold the token, which is a sign of a good investment you brainlet.

Can anyone explain to me why an advertiser would pay a random person to watch their ad? The only people who would bother are poor people in third world countries. The whole art of advertising is specific targeting for your particular market segment and high value demographics (not pajeets) in general. You get neither with Brave.
When BATs ready it won't need ETH. Brendan has clearly stated in the BAT sub that they are settlement layer agnostic by design. It was just convenient at the time to use ETH as an ICO platform (which was done in full compliance btw). It was always the plan to abandon ETH. Brendans a mathematician and computer scientist. He probably read the ETH github in an afternoon. Plus he knows Vitalik, while smart, isn't as smart as people think he is. Please refer to:
