A recent thread in Jow Forums got me interested in crypto and sent me here. Don't know shit about cryptocurrencies, only heard about Bitcoin. Am learning there is a lot more though. have a lot of money that I'm pulling out of stocks and was thinking of putting it in somewhere else. Stocks don't seem too good at the moment. I do have some questions about cryptos though.
- I don't want to put everything in Bitcoin. Diversifying is always a must, even in a highly correlated market. What other coins does Jow Forums recommend? - Where to get info and do fundamental analysis on coins? I won't trust anons blindly with my money. - Is it a good time to invest in cryptos? Does Jow Forums think the cryptomarket won't tank in a recession? - Should I take time learn about the tech itself? Not an IT or Maths user here.
honestly, just DYOR. everything on here is just shills trying to trick people into buying, you need a really good filter which you don't have yet. if you buy now you're doing better than plenty of better (just go and look at the BTC chart, people on this board right now bought at $10k+), but there's no guarantees. you don't need an in-depth knowledge of the tech. i would start with getting a general idea of what the top 25 coins do.

Take 10K USD and put it in BNB, CHX, LINK. And buy 1 whole Bitcoin. Get some HOT too. And some Litecoin. Don't check back until you start hearing about bitcoin/crypto all over the news again. You'll be able to retire.

Just buy the top 3 and keep them off an exchange in wallets. Learn to use wallets and send a test transaction first so you don't lose your coins. Buy Link if you want a moonshot/high risk coin.
