Apparently there is a second Boeing Crash, just a few months since the last one (LionAir October 2018), of the new model 737 MAX .

Both crashes were the new Boeing model 737 MAX 8, and had similar "patterns" (like the planes crashing just a few minutes after landing, and airplane balance/nose tipping issues reported).

1.Do you believe that these crashes could be attributed to model technical faults? if that is true, then possibly more planes might be at risk currently and/or in the future.

2.Also, how do you think this will affect Boeing Stock price Short term/long term ?

(-I am not a pilot or any type of an engineer so i do not assume that the planes have any technical issues)

always hated flying. fuck thats sad.

1) possibly - the lion air crash was due to the autotrimming not be able to be shut off quickly enough by third worlders. If this latest crash is the same thing the entire fleet should be grounded...

2) the stock price will drop tomorrow. Question is how much. It will drop even more if the issue is related to the lion air crash. It’ll stabilize if not. If it’s linked that means Boeing has A systemic problems in decision making leading to both this technology and then not grounding/disabling it and B a giant fucking problem and stock price will freefall

>Boeing has systemic problems in decision making
That would be an understatement. I have done a lot of work with people from their commercial airliner division, and they are so bureaucratic that they make the government look efficient. Also they are a bunch of greedy nosebergs that will cut corners wherever possible. Not a good combination.

Third worlders getting rekt by automation they dont trust and turn off because they "know better", or automation they ignore warnings from that require pilot input.

I don't think its a systematic failure at boeing, but a mismatch in technology / IQ limits in native pilot populations. I would utterly astounded if it was a white pilot.

> 18 Canadians, eight Americans and seven British nationals were among the passengers.

None of these people had any business being in Africa. I am glad they are dead, and I hope many more retarded poverty tourists and virtue signalers die in similar accidents soon.

I'm actually thinking of finding another job because I'm supposed to fly to Atlanta in May for a training. I've never been on a plane and shit like this makes me even more fearful.

Hmmm....

There are enough high IQ people in any country to operate a plane. You don't need an IQ higher than 120 to fly, I'd say even 110 is enough.

>I've never been on a plane
Did you also marry your sister?

Fuck off with your smugness.

So that's a yes.

third world pilots shit the bed the instant anything goes wrong, it is a known and well documented problem that has yet to be solved

anybody that can afford britsh/american/european pilots uses them, because they don't want to fucking die

all private jet pilots for third world government officials are white European descendants, they don't use their own shitskin pilots because they know they cant trust them

I flew on a max 9 just last week. They had to move passengers around to balance the plane because the back half of it was empty. So at the very least the pilots have instrumentation to tell them the balance is off.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....m

Can’t stress this enough. I won’t fly anything not euro/western. Nothing comfier than getting on an AA flight and seeing a white pilot with an Air Force ballcap and white copilot with a Navy ballcap. Worth the cost.

this is pretty common for all lighter aircraft, just one of many pre-flight safety checks that are commonly ignored in third world shitholes due to lackadaisical crew members and relaxed standards

you would think they don't want to fucking die, but its more like they don't take warnings and certain things seriously, or one idiot checks a box and tells somebody else its done

retired brit pilots I drink with have all sorts of horror stories about flying in the middle east and africa

>high IQ
>Africa
Lmao

It's obvious Boeing has installed a faulty sensor. This is going to cost them big. They're already getting fucked in the Air Lion case that's going through the courts in Seattle.

Killing a bunch of roasties and other travel fags seems pretty alright to me

The odds of a plane falling are the same as getting struck by lightning 7 times in a row. Unless your pilot is drunk, it most likely won't fall.

Are you guys retarded rednecks or something? There are plenty of black people with high IQs. I've met quite a few black Nigerians or Congolese working in financial institutions and had interesting conversations with them. Do you understand what an average is? Any African country has millions of people intelligent enough to fly a plane. That the great majority of the country is stupid doesn't make pilots any worse if the same international standards are applied everywhere. If they aren't, then what's to blame is not IQ anymore but poor candidate selection and/or education.

OC here

Isnt it interesting though that the same EXACT model(737 max 8) of a NEWLY released aircraft model completely crashes without explanation, twice just a few minutes after take off?

A model which according to wiki will complete around 5.000 more orders ? Even considering the fact that these countries "might" "potentially" possess less skilled pilots, it is still a serious backlash specially if its a Boeing error.

The stock should have been freefalling by now at least in premarket

only a nigger or a cuck would wish death of his own race

yeah the nigger and spic infested US armed forces is jammed packed with nigger fighter pilots im sure

black folk cannot in to g forces. limbs too long.

>like the planes crashing just a few minutes after landing

after takeoff* it was a misspell

Misspell? No.

checked
kek agrees this is intredasting

>interesting conversations = high IQ
got it

>That the great majority of the country is stupid doesn't make pilots any worse if the same international standards are applied everywhere.

the problem is precisely that the international standards are not applied

you must be a very naive person if you think flight safety is on similar levels in Ethiopia as it is to western nations

So there's some undefined behavior going on with the stick shakers in certain configurations for Boeing right now. Because Boeings and Airbus are fly by wire you can't feel the airplane mush when you're close to a stall so the control yoke (side stick if airbus) literally shakes to let you know you're 20(ish) knots from a stall configuration with respect to AOA and airspeed.

So it sounds like that might be a contributing factor because new airplane's like this don't just crash 6 minutes after takeoff. They were at least at 15k feet and that's way more than enough time to land even with both engines out. Plus new planes like this just don't crash if that makes sense.

And usually I'm skeptical when it come's the 3rd world airlines like this but the captain was a bush pilot so he knew how to fly. So was it a terrorist attack? Maybe but I doubt it.

My Dad was an NTSB crash investigator for 25 years and he's worked a lot of Boeing crashes (among others of course) and was type rated on 737, 767, and 777. And he's really starting to think this is a software issue and a lot of other people do as well. Its a fickle thing trying to write software for these airfoils because they're trying to maximize the wing at every possible configuration. Also a couple years ago an Airbus went down over the ocean for kind of the same thing. The AOA indicator iced over so the crew never actually got the stick shaker and they basically stalled/mushed it into the ocean. They should have realized it and nosed over but that's another story.

Anyways this really is sad. Going in on an airliner is a pretty bad fucking way to die, especially when you consider the fact that these people knew for a couple minutes that they were absolutely going to die. Just fuck....

Whatchu thinking?

> navy
You must fly delta a lot then.

And you put way to much faith in US pilots too. Most of them haven't touched a little airplane in years and the most acro they've done is some spins for their CFI endorsement. Part 141 is a doubled edged sword because its just checking the box a lot of times. And I'm not talking shit on guys who learned part 141, but a lot I've seen want to make it to the airlines, so they learn flying in a very procedural way, which is good and bad.

> Fate is the Hunter, but who is the hunted.

A lot of the ex-military guys I was with in training at my airline failed out. Military experience really isn't relevant to airline flying.

Dude Rob Holland regularly pulls +12 and pushes -9 and he's like 6'7". Black people can do it too just fine.

youtube.com/watch?v=XwtdZsqiPl4

This is entirely plausible too. That's prob why the stock hasn't fallen yet. But I'm gonna short anyway.

Agreed.

It's piloted by fucking 80iq niggers
Of course it crashes

I am glad you were there to tell us exactly what happened.

The amount of people killed by cars per year just in the US is a Vietnam war per year (~50k). How many people die a year flying GLOBALLY?

there is a reason why an airliner crashing makes such big news globally because it such an unusual and rare thing. flying is by far the safest method of transportation, so get your shit together.

ignore these dumb faggots man

Maybe they were going there to flex on poorfag africans

Haha what a fucking loser. Small town low IQ peasant. Everyone point and laugh at this dumb hick.

why does boeings chart look like its primed for the best dump of 2019

You don’t say! Who would think an airliner manufacturer, an industry with one of the highest if not the highest amount of capital expenditure and is managed heavily by regulators is a bureaucratic conglomerate! Wow! Color me surprised

I'm pretty sure Africa is not THAT bad, at least not anymore. The shit they show you on tv is just disaster porn to make you think shits fucked

hmmmmmm....

You can't be bureaucratic and cut corners at the same time.

lmao "the sky ships scare me"

lol

A girl I know from college is a pilot and she's literally Michigan hick actually-has-vagina-herpes tier. Being a pilot isn't some crazy endeavor, it's just expensive if you don't gain your piloting hours in the military.

Quality post in an ocean of NEET redneck fueled shit, well done user

Whoooaaa.. wtf

I guess I’m checking state department tweets from now on in the event my government wants to take down a plane

I'm pretty sure Africa has a nice standard of living for the small, tiny pecentage that aren't complete and total retarded niggers. However, maintaining complex infastructure, namely something as expensive and time consuming as aviation is never going to be safe if you don't have the human and financial capital to operate it. Simply put, you're never going to filter out that many niggers to keep it running safely.

Thanks fren.

They were actually testing chainlink on that flight. Unfortunately the test failed miserably.

Boeing stock alone is responsible for 30% of the Dow's gain this year. If Boeing share price goes down significantly it could start a major market selloff.

30%? thats amazing

Aviation is so tighty regulated that this could be real bad for boeing

Time to open short

What a typical arrogant Jow Forums poster. Do you think your special? You think just because you know a bunch of stupid terms that you're better than anyone here? Tell me. Please. Tell me why you think that way. I'd love to hear it. And for the record, I've got a masters in economics. Really chaps my ass that you nitwits come on here and chastise anyone with your vague and dismissive attitude without ever having even argued against the actual philosophy being discussed. Lets hear your 'economic thought' you yellow-bellied shit posting psued. Go right ahead... there is no better place than here and no better time than now. Lemme guess, you like keynes? Or are you some laissez-faire extreme capitalist? Read a few quotes from milton friedman and now you're the expert on money and how to run an economy? Lay it on me pal. I got all day. I'm gonna be here in this thread questioning everything you say... everything you do. Every post you make. Every feeble attempt you try. So you got two choices my man... you either put up or you shut up. Whats it gonna be?

90% of this thread is Jow Forums because someone mentioned blacks and they all came to brigade since it's their fetish.

That is exactly what I said, that the problem is international standards not being applied everywhere the same way and not the average IQ of a particular country.

>middle east
>0-5
really?

Fair enough. On a more Jow Forums related note I’ve added BA to my watchlist.

This is really bad. I believe the 737MAX planes are supposed to replace the older 737s. Lots of orders are on the line that may get cancelled. If this keeps happening it will take a long time to recover. If the crash occurred because of technical issues I'd bet on airbus, eventhough Boeing is HUGE with the latest Embraer purchase.

>10 degrés d'assiette

lol, I'm not trying to be an armchair pilot here but they should have known that they were stalled. That's why you gotta hand fly these goddamn things. That's what dad always said.

19 UN workers on board of crashed plane

oh fuck off. There's easier ways to kill people than crashing a fucking airplane. Plus the UN is feckless anyway. No one really gives a shit what they do, they're like interpol.

Traitors get the rope first

>As a general observation, markets tend to overdiscount the uncertainty related to identified risks. Conversely, markets tend to underdiscount risks that have not yet been expressly identified.
this seems like one of those events right? people see that the plane crashed but the risk has not been expressly identified by the market yet. there is a chance that this was due to a fault of Boeing . anyone buying puts?

All of China has grounded the MAX. Time to short Boeing boys.

China saw their opportunity and took it. Fucking savage.

Jow Forums - Business & Finance

He Boeing will be owned by Xioping before this is over.

They have most of their IP anyway. Might as well own the whole company. But what's her face from Seattle will run to trump before that happens. Boeing is an american institution

Safest time to fly is after air disasters.
Everywhere cracks down on safety checks.
Failing that just fly QANTAS you're paranoid. The world's oldest airline, no crashes, no deaths.

Thank you user. Good post

Well... hate to break it to you, for every plane crash with 150 deaths there are 500,000,000 car crashes with exponentially more casualties. Flying is and will always be one of the safest modes of transport.

Any big guys in the wreckage?

Omg faggot airlines a literally begging for pilots, they make it very easy to get into (and pass) flight school. Commercial airline pilot is literally a horrible job for the first 5-10 years, the hours are cucked and the pay is like 50k. You have to really love being in the air and sleeping in shitty airport hotels 80% of your life. Makes wagecucking look enjoyable.

How often do you drive? Chances of dying in a plane crash = 1 in 11 million. Dying in a car crash = 1 in 5,000

lol presumably you're american, retarded or both

britfag BA pilot here, 11 years on the job, salary 140k gbp. Work an average of 9 days per month (admittedly those days are long), very rarely stay in hotels as only fly short haul

Lion Air 610 with a B737 MAX:
>mcas has been reported to cause some problems prior to flight
>for some reason after take off the mcas system auto trimmed the elevators down
>plane could have actually been approaching a stall
>mcas could have received bad data because of external anomaly
>pilots didnt cut off the auto trim
>airplane keeps trimming down
>they constantly trim up

From the flight pattern of the ethiopia boeing you can see that during their climb they had a short time when they decended again. After that they crashed. Now you can speculate that it was also due to stall warning that the mcas automatically trimmed the elevator down. But from the graph it looks like they stayed on altitude for a long time and then just vanished.

Either way, I think the importance of auto trim cut off wasnt mentioned by boeing strong enough. Maybe their system is really fucked up. And if it would work how its supposed to be, it makes no sense.

SHORT
