10k coin here.
Also have few servers that are going up in may.
Nice!
Only 15k here, and I would love to set up some machines as well. I can see running tasks being very profitable in the future.
Do you expect a 2x from here for V3? I dont see how it dumps this coin has been oversold for so long.
Zero predictions.
All I know is RLC is undervalued as fuck by at least 10x
I'm also joining the public pool on May with my gaming rig, even if I only make like 100RLC that's like 100.000$ in a few years amr?
how come there's never any golem threads?
because it's just a lesser version of RLC
But by your brainlet logic it's a better investment?
No, there's a difference between someone never posting about an absolute worthless shitcoin with zero inherent value and people on biz barely talking about a coin with an amazing tech/team/tons of use cases.
You seem to be the brainlet here.
There supposedly ahead but if you check their activity there isn't a lot.
funny that you think iexec will be immediately be used in may. People can currently compute for free on the testnet and nobody does it, what makes you think they will suddenly do it when you have to pay for it?
Ahead of what? Golem is a rendercoin, it's only purpose is to serve as payments for rendering tasks. That's it. I can't even find the fucking roadmap on their website, I guess there isn't any.
iExec is a decentralized cloud computing network. I can compute anything you want. It validates every task and has a reputation and staking system. And I'm not even talking about team and partnerships which destroys Golem.
So what exactly is Golem ahead? Does it have a validation system? How does the network know workers aren't cheating and not doing any computing? Which partnerships does it have? What's their future plans? If you can't answer that then go back to your shitting street.
This.
Is this true? Is noone using the testnet?
explorer.iex.ec
literally free compute, but only a task once a day or so because there's no good app.
People on here are memeing and bullshitting 24/7 but probably haven't even tried the marketplace themselves even once.
It's testnet you fucking retard, of course no one is going to use it for anything serious yet. V3 is when it -starts- to get used. iExec is unironically 5 years ahead of its time.
Hold for 5 years and you'll be thankful you listened to me.
More thankful than just holding LINK? I doubt it.
You mean that meme with no product and no team communication? ok.
I hold both btw, but LINK is a gamble compared to iExec.
>trusting a network with no repercussions for false results
You're the über-retard, do you think the computing power is something different just because you pay with testnet rlc.. hahahahahahah
Also let me tell you what happens at V3. It will dump again, just like at V2 because no one is using it. RLC usecase is valid but adoption is probably more than a year away. But you don't really care about the tech anyway, you're just slinging some pseudo tech lingue without understanding it.
Look at this retard he doesn't even know about PoCo. We are trully early adopters bros.
No one is going to use a testnet for anything important you fucking retard.
kek, imagine not knowing about PoCo in 2019
Repeating your uninformed opinion doesn't make it any more true, dipshit.
Also the network is on mainnet (explorer.iex.ec
But I know you will just bury yourself more into your delusion that with V3 suddenly massive adoption starts. Go on.. I'm laughing at you faggots and meanwhile investing in tokens with actual monthly revenue, actual tokenomics and a valid business model. Hint: iExec has none of those three..
No that's my fear and why I looked into golem's usage. I don't think RLC is going to be used in any meaningful way for a while yet, if ever. It's my largest hold so it definitely concerns me
RLC is my largest hold in crypto. I don't see anyone lining up to use it. If you think in May that intel, IBM, Ubisoft or anyone else is going to be processing thousands or even hundreds of tasks you're going to be disappointed. Maybe within a year it'll start getting serious usage
iExec is not decentralized yet you fucking retard. It will be at V3 and ANYBODY will be able to create their own dapps and join public worker pools.
Holy shit you're truly a retard or you're fudding, it's obviously one of the two.
The delusion is strong in this one
The testnet is for users to test on, even when compute is free, no one is testing, surely alarm bells should be going off in your head?
You sound like an emotional investor who's overstretched
>It's testnet you fucking retard, of course no one is going to use it
Absolutely peak biz, this sentence.
You're embarrassing yourself. Refute my points or let the big boys play.
> ANYBODY will be able to create their own dapps
Anybody can create their dapps right now
> join public worker pools
ok cool, even more people competing for 1 task per day.
Exactly, those partners are in because they see something with good PR chance for themselves and probably a good potential down the line. They aren't in it because the want to use ranjeets win95 PC right now lol.
You can create dapps but they are not decentralized which is the first reason you create a dapp, you know, the D, from decentralized
I would argue that the 10 pools run by different orgs are already somewhat decentralized. But, doesnt matter, lets assume its V3 and dApps are finally DECENTRALIZED whoooooooooa.
What app will benefit from decentralized task-based compute, like iexec does, and why? Really curious, I haven't found a single reason, why a dapp like augur or something would need this.
RLC bagholders in full panic mode now
No point in arguing with a literal retard. Enjoy missing out :)
>The testnet is for users to test on
And it was tested, you fucking retard. There are no current reasons for companies to use it because there aren't any dApps that they need to use currently. Simple as that.
You'll understand in about 2 years when iExec controls the dApp space.
Yeah just sold 100k because of you guys, I'm so afraid I'm buying BSV which a guy called Ranjesh told me it was totally not a scam
In the event of a server outage, it is easy to change servers thanks to decentralization.
Even today, AWS servers can still shut down for a few minutes/hours like last year, which has resulted in millions of dollars in lost business revenue for large ecommerce companies, for example.
Here we are just talking about money, but imagine if in a smart city, an elderly person is connected to health devices / health apps in the cloud. If AWS cuts for 1 hour, this person has a high chance of dying (bye bye bye boomer motherfucker).
If they go through a decentralized service, this kind of thing will never happen again.
Now think about that for a smart cities, when everything will be connected in cloud + 5g. Do you prefer to go through a centralized service that can crash, or through a decentralized service?
fuck, based
absolutely BASED
RLC 100x minimum EOY
>only 300 RLC
P-Please don't l-l-leave with me.
Probably gonna be worth $10 after v3 gets implemented
WOuld bring the total market cap to just 800 million dollars. That's nothing...
Overpriced
lol?
>GNT +25%
>RLC -6%
it's amazing how Jow Forums can spend every waking hour thinking about crypto but still be so detached from the reality of it.
Yeah what the FUCK man
Nice little story, but you conveniently forgot to mention that iexec is not for hosting websites or other sort of continuous, high frequency requests. Because every single call goes through a smart contract and needs to pay gas. Do you understand that this is not only extremely costly but also introduces a huge lag?
iExec is good for task-based processing, e.g. batch processing. But its nowhere near competitive with AWS yet.
Also, the discussion was about the near term effects of V3 and you completely derail it to some futuristic 5G smart cities, which you and you butt buddies in this thread can jack off too.
You think you can fool any rational person with this shit?
It only needs to pay gas until they decide to have their own blockchain. Which is a possibility.
> adoption imminent!
> ok, not imminent, but in future smart cities it will compete with AWS
> ok, well it still needs its own blockchain to be competitive. Which it MIGHT get.
imagine backtracking this hard. yikes.
GOLEM GETYE GONE
Thanks for this thread user, I sold the RLC I had for GNT and already up 20%.
It's true what they say, when the brainlets buy, it's time to sell.
Thanks again user
Seeing you guys trying to criticize this project on every thread, by taking people high and believing themselves to be 200 IQ, makes me more and more bullish on this.
Keep your haughty prases for you.
Do you understand that it is a risky invesment ? Like all other cryptos iExec is likely to suceed or bankrupt.
People do the arbitrage and evaluate the risk to make their investments
Prepare you to fly. Today or tomorrow ;)
Why do you talk about hosting website ?
Kek.
And, do you know what is a sidechain ?
