23 years old. In the Philippines. Graduated Culinary arts and Baking. Worked as a pastry chef, 48 hours a week, $260 a month with no benefits. My dream job but realized that pay wasn't really enough. Now working as a call center agent, 40 hours a week, $400 a month with benefits and planning on buying and selling stuff online. If I could find a better job, I would. Planning on learning coding and do some freelance job. What do you guys think?

Ex-carpenter here. I got into it straight out of high school, thank fuck because if I had gone to uni then I would have been a philosophy major or someshit.
Like others have pointed out ITT a lot of tradies are pretty dense. I got sick of spending all day listening to top 40 and engaging in insipid banter while hunched over a nailgun. Also mentioned above a lot of the older guys were just always sore, and drank/drugged their way through every evening. I realized I didn't want to have to rely on this type of work to pay bills when I was in my 50s so went to uni. Currently getting masters in engineering.
tldr; do a trade if you're young and don't know what else to do.

anons, whatever you do, do NOT go into computer science. this field used to be great for making money while working a comfy office job but now it is SATURATED with jeets and chinks who will work for table scraps. also they push diversity like a motherfucker. please just choose literally anything other than this.
