You don't need to cope with it at all. You do not need to comply with normie demands, and you are mentally equipped to discard their bullshit instantaneously.

You are already free, mentally. You just need to take the necessary steps to gain financial and physical freedom, which are much easier than deprogramming yourself of years of brainwashing.

Im not an intp and this describes me too though.

checked.

was thinking about this last night. this probably described my entire young adult life. honestly it fucking sucked. I went through a stage where I accepted i had no strong male guidance in my life. I have a dad, but he never taught me the ropes. in essence i failed in making male or female friends. looking back i probably had 10 or so women that I coulda had sex/relationship with. But I was too much of a pussy shit to do anything. Fucked up my career because I was a beta and had no backbone.

Wasn't until I got into the PUA scene for 5 years that I became somewhat normal at making relationships with others.

he's right. embrace it. mental freedom is one of the last freedoms left. don't pity the NPCs, just be glad it's impossible for you to ever be one.

Yeah no. Striving to be a depressed robot doesn't make you one with emotions as vague sensations. Fuck off.

someone's jelly
kek
we're not all depressed. only the ones who haven't realized their true nature and are still trying to "fit in".

Exactly the same with me. I don't know your point. The prediction in op is bs as its too vage and encompases many peronality types. Many people go through the exact same phase growing up.

horoscopes for beta males

Emotions are only strong in women and trans men anyway

yes, true but not amount of growing up will ever allow an INTP to "fit in" even if they come across as normal to others. the OP applies to all INTPs and completely awkward "S" types. not all INTPs are awkward, but they are different and once they figure it out, which they eventually will, they are free. only the "S" types with no ability to understand remain butthurt about it.

That's not how all intps are.

I've never had trouble making friends. This reads more like a cold-reading horoscope than an intp profile. Hmm, gee, sure the smart (everyone thinks they are smart), longer child who spends all his time on the internet instead of hanging out with friends wouldn't be on Jow Forums. That's a tough guess that won't resonate with most people there.

Do any other INTPs find themselves eating the exact same shit everyday? And on the off-chance you actually attempt to cook something new, you end up eating that new thing for X amount of weeks in a row and then adding it to your usual rotation of foods you’re comfortable with eating?

yes, all the time. other people can't fathom it because they are slaves to novelty and dopamine. food is fuel, nothing more

Also I find making new friends significantly easier when I’m with friends that I already know. And those new people I encounter are simply engaged through my interactions with my current friends. But fuck being alone and trying to engage some random stranger. Unless they strike up conversation first, I have no intention of seeking out new friends unless they show that they want to be my friend first.

Fucking this, I make like 2lbs of taco meat every week and use that as my primary source of food. Normally just by making taco rice. It’s literally so easy and I can have a meal ready in 3mins.
>have zojirushi rice cooker
>keeps rice fresh for up to 5 days
>almost always have 3-5 cups of rice ready to go
>heat up taco meat in microwave for 45sec
>put it on top of fresh bowl of rice from cooker
>add cheese and siriacha on top
>consume the dankness

Yet my gf wastes 30-45mins every day cooking a single chicken breast and roasting veggies in the oven. Then she had to clean up all that cookware afterwards. It’s literally a retarded waste of time.

YES WHAT THE FUC\K

he forgot to add that if youre INTP youre all in LINK

>It’s literally so easy and I can have a meal ready in 3mins.
>It’s literally a retarded waste of time.
this.
we like to make routine tasks as efficient as possible so we can go back to researching, reading, contemplating the apocalypse, etc.

>Also I find making new friends significantly easier when I’m with friends that I already know

Normal part of human social interaction called 'social proofing'

you spelled INTJ wrong, my guy

Kek

I think my programming got fucked up at some point cuz I waste away playing MOBAs when I’m not at work. I’ve tried combatting that recently; just bought a beginners violin. Always wanted to learn it.

One more thing, do other INTP anons find themselves excelling at mundane/routine tasks? I worked at McDonalds through college and I was one the fastest people in the grill. Literally a McDouble is always a McDouble and once the order of ingredients was mastered I could put one together in like 6 seconds, paper wrapped and everything. I was also really good at the trombone in middle/high school. Ya know? A Bb is always a Bb and once I mastered how to play a perfectly intune Bb I could never fuck it up. Was also really good at shooter games growing up.

Only people without money care about this shit seriously

we are a higher ability to focus on the task at hand better than most. it's what makes us such good researchers and observers of the world around us. so, yes, no surprise there

>playing MOBAs when I’m not at work.
this is included in the "etc" portion of the post to which you replied. not all INTPs like to research, they jus tlike to do do what they like to do; for you, it's playing MOBAs

Help, I can't understand if I'm intp or intj. How do I distinguish between these two types?

>pic related

i eat clean foods, fruits, vegetables and consume as little sugar as possible. only drink distilled water.

>That "dopamine" you get from trying a food you enjoy is your body thanking you for the nutrients it needs that you are providing to it.
wrong
it's you getting a high off novelty

How are you staying healthy if you always eat the same things. Your body needs a diverse range of nutrients to function properly. That "dopamine" you get from trying a food you enjoy is your body thanking you for the nutrients it needs that you are providing to it.

Rice and meat together are (easily convertible to glucose) carbs and fat. Eating carbs and fat together is bad for you. Glucose causes an insulin response in your body which opens your cells up to absorb the glucose but if fat is in your blood at the same time your cells absorb the fat and you gain weight. Your body still just uses the carbs for energy and no fat is burned (just fat stored in cells). Glucose also makes it easier for saturated fat to get stuck to your arterial walls which beef is full of. Either go full keto or if you must have carbs avoid saturated and trans fats like the plague.

see also, you can get diveresr range of nutrients by eating the same things consistently. think before posting

>My enjoying eating fresh vs brown avocado after not having it for a week is me getting a high off novelty

I bet

wow, you're really reaching here buddy. again, think before posting

Btown avocado is jot enjoyable if i haven't eaten it but fresh avocado is tasty. Why is that the case when they are both edible? Because fresh avocado contains more unspoiled nutrients which your body needs. Same way that eating ice cream when you are completely stuffed tastes meh even if you haven't had any for a few months. Your body mokes all food less enjoyable as you fill up. The first bite of the same dish you eat every night still gives you a dopamine rush because your burned your nutrients during the day.

bro, first it was trying new things to get diverse nutrients is why one gets dopamine, now it's fresh vs not fresh for nutrients is why one gets dopamine. which is it brainlet? anyone not retarded is going to eat fresh foods, you are not making sense.

You know posts like that just take bits everyone can identify with at some level in order to manipulate you? Think what sad fucker wrote that. Dont be a sucker

my point is most people are addicted to novelty and dopamine, and that's why people try different foods to which you disagreed. now, you're agreeing with me that it's just about replenishing nutrients which is exactly my point - food is fuel, nothing more.

you can eat the same things without eating "old" foods.

second time you deleted your post

If you read my post you would understand it is both which give the dopamine rush. Your body needs a diverse range of nutrients so if there are nutrients you are missing out on from one meal that you can get from another meal your body lets you know by making that new food taste good. Older foods have the sme nutrients but the reason you don't enjoy them as much even when they are novel is because your body can sense that the nutrients are spoiled (no longer usable). Yes we both agree that food is fuel but that dopamine response exists for good reason. It is there to let you know that you ate foods that your body needs. Admittedly plenty of foods that taste good are bad for you which mainly comes from processed foods where the manufacturer packed the foods with sugar which your body does need but in a better form.

But it is more if people experience it as more. It's like saying music is changes in air pressure nothing more.
You're just saying that as a way to feel superior to so called 'normies' because you're autistic.

Deleted to fix typos. Im phone posting without my glasses.

5. They're creatures of habit
Any dietitian will tell you that a varied diet is good--but too much variety can backfire, says Katz, author of The Flavor Point Diet. Studies have shown that too many tastes and textures encourage you to overeat, he explains. "Thin people have what I call a food groove—the majority of their meals consist of well-planned staples," says Beck. "There are a few surprises thrown in, but for the most part, their diets are fairly predictable."

we can adjust for typos here. context is context and yours is shit

I daydream in every empty moment. It started when I was like 12, I thought I was just trying to think of neat ideas since I wanted to draw comics. Ended up just being fantasies of myself actually being sociable and enjoying life.

The fuck do I do, bros.

The same foods you eat every day taste more bland because your body still has those same nutrients in you while you are eating so those nutrients which your body already contains. This will not give you the same dopamine rush as if you are having those nutrients for the first time because your body is already satiated. The first bite on an empty stomach will still give you that rush because your body has burned some if those nutrients. I will agree that there is a very small negligible novelty factor which comes if you are trying a food for the first time ever or in many years but otherwise it is negligible.

>Studies have shown that too many tastes and textures encourage you to overeat, he explains.
novelty

Feel free to chech warosu if you want to see me swap letters.

they don't taste bland to me because i like the taste and i have a subconcious understanding that food is fuel. i am fueling my body - that's awesome. blandness and lack of novelty is expereienced by those who gain comfort from food and thus are required to consume more - like a drug addict adjusting to tolerance.

>This will not give you the same dopamine rush as if you are having those nutrients for the first time because your body is already satiated.
thank you for proving my point. the dopamine rush comes from novelty.

>heatsink
Fuggin' kek

Oh my god imagine being such a personality-less automaton that a Jow Forums post "hits you right in your feels" and you have to cringely bask in your self-pity with other anonymous losers. CRINGE!

Overeating is never healthy and the body is not perfect (There are flaws in every living system). You can easily portion your meals or just stop eating when you are satiated though. (Without restraint people will consume until their portion is done or pain/discomfort sets in. This is especially true when eating infront of a tv). There is nothing inherintly wrong with using the dopamine response as a single (of many) tool/guage for when you are giving your body what it needs

keep doing it, but change your perspective that it is a fantasy (unlikely to happen). you have a subconscious belief that it won't, work until it is no longer a fantasy in your mind but something that can and will happen. be amazed at the results.

>There is nothing inherintly wrong with using the dopamine response as a single (of many) tool/guage for when you are giving your body what it needs
of course not, but novelty increases the liklihood of it becoming uncontrollable. see and >blandness and lack of novelty is expereienced by those who gain comfort from food and thus are required to consume more - like a drug addict adjusting to tolerance.

I didn't prove your point. I literally proved that dopanime response from eating foods which your body needs is a tool to dertermine that you are eating a better mix of foods.

whatever you say, bro. you should probably go back and if you want to stay, lurk a whole lot more

Nice url quads, why though?

Shut the fuck up you schizo posting lunatic

Because I used to be like this too, until I read that book. It showed me that most things that were making me miserable were me insisting on going back to the useless side of life. With the help of that book I re-defined the meaning I give to my life. Now I have a successful career and a smart and beautiful girlfriend with whom I'm settling down. Today I am truly happy.

Ive been browsing biz since 2015. The reason your types don't get along with others isn't because you are special. Its because you have no problem arguing semantics down to a cyclical, time wasting, pointless debate and keep going even when there is reasonable doubt which every debate about the real world has.

That's because he is trying to achieve superiority by being argumentative, which is completely useless. He should focus on learning to cooperate with his fellow human beings instead of trying to be recognized as a superior god of grammar.

Your point is moot because the dopamine rush is from the illusion of taste that novelty creates, you are a literal brainlet because you don't realize nutrition pills don't give you dopamine rush so the real link between the rush and the food is the novelty through taste rather than nutrition

Thanks, I'll check it out. Do I have to become NPC for true happiness?

Does being special and unique make you happy in any way? Is being different a goal in itself? How about you make the goal being happy, and not being different or edgy or smarter or whatever else?
You don't have to become NPC but you don't have you make it the meaning of your life not to be NPC.

How about I want to be like I am just with more fucking energy and willpower?

Then hit the gym and eat right.

Lol, did that like forever.

Get up at a reasonable hour and sleep at a reasonable hour. Then start doing high intensity workouts like sprinting/long distance running. You want to have more energy then have a health cycadian rhythm and do strenuous exercises which force your body to generate energy better.

Ascend and buy an Instapot. Toss a bunch of ingredients into it. Maybe saute the meat beforehand (if you care). Put it on 20 min and now you'll have a weeks worth of food.

Because being how you are means having no energy and willpower. Instead you should be someone with energy and willpower. Just read the damn book.

My mom does stuff like chi-gung every morning which is supposed to channel your energy better so you can perform throughout the day.

discipline and routine
I think one problem with INTJS and INTPS is that they have massive egos, even if they have nothing in their life to justify it. I think this is a coping mechanism; its used as a refusal to try anything new and try anything you could potentially fail at, so you just exist in this haze of painful mediocrity, i know that has been the case for me. Part of how I have changed this aspect of me is acknowledging that i am not perfect nor any better than the normies i am surrounded by, and I had to get rid of my entire mindset, because frankly it was not working for me. This is the hardest and most painful part because your essentially breaking down the thing you have been your entire life, the anchor you fall back on every time you feel resentful, angry, jealous etc. You dont have to change everything, like i use my INTJ obsession and apply it to working out, eating right, studying etc. I use my logic way of thinking and apply it to social scenarios and break it down. Despite being introverted im now far more at ease/skilled in social situations and can banter with normies, and once again you have to get rid of that massive ego if you want to start improving. Another strategy is you have to sit down and force yourself to think of what the consequences are going to be for your life of you do NOT act. You have to be more scared of not doing anything than doing said thing. IDK if im making sense right now or doing the INTP rambling thing. You basically have to psycho-analyze yourself and remove every thing that you know inside is weighing you down, no matter how painful it might be to get rid of. most will fail here because they will simply refuse to admit they are the problem or they are contributers/etc. I think elliot rodger was defintley one of those people

Fun thing is sleeping is fine, fitness is fine, I could do that all day long. But coming to usual tasks like chores or meaningful work, I'd rather grab a book or spent too much time on things like cooking or researching unimportant stuff. Working on things that are not my personal interests exhausts me from the minute I start.

This approach I can make sense of and this is unironically what keeps me going. Problem is, even if I'm lazy and not using my potential I'm still way too successful to have any drive for change. I even think no one would appreciate it anyway, so what.
Yes, sometimes I don't know if my ego is massive or if I don't have an ego at all. Lack of discipline is definitely a factor which is sad, since I've been extremely disciplined in my teens.

But thanks for your input!
The only thing where have always failed is routine, it's just too boring and I have always been fine without it. I think that life is just too easy but I'm not stupid enough to make it challenging.
