this summer i was going to go back to my old job i had as a student except as my own boss this time, doing commercial window cleaning in the mornings before work (restaurants, car showrooms etc). i spent a month lining up dozens of customers for the summer ive since had to say sorry to.
why? the guy who runs the storage facility i was keeping equipment in went awol for a few days, long enough that about $1200's worth of cleaning pumps, brushes and other equipment was stolen (plus a load of gardening machinery), every other storage unit had been broken into too. insurance doesnt believe anything has happened, the owner of the site doesnt give a fuck, the police dont give a fuck.
ive had that locker for about 4 years since my dad left town, theres never once been a hint of a security problem before now. then of course right when i need nothing to happen, bad luck happens.
same fucking story with everything else in my life it seems. even my wagecucking might be at risk because my boomer boss wants to sell up and his semi retarded grandkid the same age as me is taking over, has already said he wants to give all his friends jobs, which will fuck me up.. so will probably happen.
