My sister is now 18 (yay) and as a gift I want to buy her a stock of some big company, just to (maybe) get her interested in this world.
I live in Europe (Spain). How THE FUCK do I do that? I had no idea it was this hard to buy a stock in someone else's name. I only found giveashare which basically makes you pay twice as much as the market price. Has any of you ever done this? How?

buy any physical paper, there are some left in switzerland for example you there are a lot of cable railways in alpine areas which have physical shares you can buy them in her name or just buy a ownership paper.. not big company tho :D

I literally did exactly that one Christmas for my pot smoking nephew. I made an account on the Robinhood app and put $50 in it. I imagined if he used it I would just end up having to pay a little bit more money on taxes due to his hypothetical gains. Of course he never used it. And they say pot is harmless
