I'll let you all in on a little secret, I may be bugging out of my job a little quicker. For you see a long time back I worked for this agency that "may" be a semi government outfit. What this means for me now is that due to where I work at is as a state government rat. So instead of having to work the full 27 years and be 50 years old I may be able to pull the pin at age 48 and a half instead . Then it gets even better cause I can use my sick time that I've earned so I'll be age 48 and even with full retirement oh man.
So to recap all this long winded rant; I may be 48 years old drawing a full pension check with a nice 401k and paid medical to my name. With the only debt being my house you see.

Many reasons, artificially increase the Price Earning Ratio; limit share dilution and thus increase self managemennt; and most of the time it's used to give those shares to employees in the form of stock options
