as far as I understood DIS went down because when they were aquiring 20th century fox, they offered to pay them in DIS shares, or even a proportion of DIS shares instead of exlusivley cash, and fox replied “fuck no, cash only please”

I was concerned also that since they did pay for a lot of it in stock, maybe people are concerned about the large amounts owned Murdoch for example.
