I have maybe some prospects, I took a vocational class in 11th grade for programming and passed the NOCTI with a certification in Java if that's worth anything.
Also program for an FRC team, not sure if that would do anything on a resume.
Can't go to college or a trade school because asset poverty.
How did you guys grind it out without any money to start, what should I do?

Sometimes you do what you have to do until you can do what you want to do. Look for labor jobs like construction, landscaping (good summer work for your age) and the like. Continue to get your tech skills up while you're working. Ignore wage slave posts and keep moving
