I used to lift loads, it was my whole life. Spent all my time on the forums etc, proper fucking into all kinds of deep internet meme style PLing/odd objects/bw stuff. Full on.

Fucked me up so bad, I later realised, years down the line.

If you go over 8 hours you will feel worse than if you got less sleep, it's a legit thing backed by medical research you're literally a brainlet if you sleep for more than 8 hours. Sleeping for 6.5hrs makes you feel like shit at first because you're not used to it, but after about two weeks you will no longer feel the need to sleep for longer than that.

apnea is the most likely culprit. Especially if you are a fatzoid. Apnea means you spend all night half-suffocating yourself with your own fat rolls. So of course you wake up feeling like trash. Go do a sleep study.

And yes, sleeping more than 8 hours will make you feel WORSE. 7-8 hours is your target.
