yeah if i want to avoid scams then try to look into projects that are revolutionary in some way - projects that aren't the 100th iteration of some concept or yet another BTC fork... E.g. ETH was fundamentally different to BTC. Everything following ETH wasn't really that much better desu. I picked HOT because those guys came up with a unique technology that basically makes all blockchains obsolete - it's a paradigm shift in the sense that there is no limitation on what you can do on Holochain. It isn't a blockchain with a TPS limit, it is a totally new data structure closer to a distributed hash table. Whatever I am starting to ramble... I am a bit nervous myself because this will either be a mega moon mission or go to fucking zero. Take care!
