OMG looking good. Who's on board?

Attached: 1513522154064.png (400x400, 172K)

There are unironically people on this board who still hold omg

Will I make it with 4000 OMG?

what about 1000?

Yikes

Come back three years ago lmao

I laugh every time, still. I sincerely hope that beloved retard from 2017 is still around here somewhere

>that schizo that would call everyone migger

I was reading their subreddit today. It's in total meltdown after it turns out the number one fanboy was only shilling his bags just unload them on retarded redditors.

omg unironically has a capability to do a 300-500x from current prices by 2021.

markets are cyclical.

if they execute their concept POS will line up with the next bull market.

partnerships/POCs with major financial corporations LINED UP BEFORE THE PRODUCT IS EVEN FINISHED

staking will remove most of the available supply from staking, vitalik and the rest of the eth/plasma buttbuddies understand that a high token price is needed for POS to be secure.

this is ethereum's answer to the current entire financial sector. there's a chance it bombs and they don't deliver - but if they do, and there's a real chance they do, this is going to be one of the, if not the best performing fintech investments of all time.

neat. what else do you hold good sir?

I am ready to buy my first "crypto currency"

How do I do this?

Please post a URL I could copy and paste into Internet Explorer.

Is 700 enough?

you get a condo in the sticks.

3 bdrm 2 bath and a Honda Civic

Gangster mansion and 1st class air travel.

my only crypto investment is OMG.

Why not hold some BTC, LTC, or ETH?

i'm going to pick up a few btc once i free up some liquid capital, i converted all of it into omg somewhile ago (down a decent chunk in terms of sats at the moment but i'm not mad i did it)

Majority of my holdings are in OMG as well... Only holding OMG and BTC atm. Feeling pretty comfy.

LTC is not a long term hold. It's just BTC's testnet.

>
why would you hold OMG but not ETH? just curious?

why not LINK? I notice a lot of people who hold OMG dont hold LINk and vice versa. Its pretty weird. Am I too smart for holding both, including REQ?

i should hold some eth desu, i bought more from $90-120 and immediately dumped it into OMG. i just believe that OMG has a much higher ceiling in the next ~2-3 years than eth.

I don't hold LINK because I don't understand it's game theory. OMG's is very straight forward.
I can easily estimate demand based on throughput and what kind of assets it can handle. Then I can effectively calculate a range of staking returns.

On top of hat we need Decentralized exchanges to prevent failing into a fractional reserve. We need currency agnostic transactions, so consumers don't have to track down and bid on utility tokens to use dapps.

Pic Related is the estimation for competing with Visa.

It's pretty much seen as the silver to bitcoin now and it's been around for a while. I hold a little bit of the big 3 and omg.

at least you're honest and not fudder. I would implore you to read the white paper and check out their partnerships. at some point we will need to connect off chain data to the blockchain and incentive people to feed this data through a decentralized oracle network and that will be LINK. i think if you are smart enough to hold OMG and LINK you will be a god among men

How soon is soon?

pic related is much more realistic.
You know that the go exchange will run on the OMG network so you can't expect fees higher than 0.05% because the go exchange team will have to earn some money (so they will charge fees on top of the omg network)

Expecting anything higher than 0.1$ per year at per token at the network launch is delusional.

go.exchange is not the OMG network. It's just the first front end exchange to test it.
You do make a good point that short term, we still have a long way to go before we're crushing Visa's numbers.
Here's what I have for competing with centralized exchanges. I'd say it's worth paying a little extra to retain control over your private keys while trading.

The following people have distanced themselves from the project:
Kelvin Fichter
David Knott
Thomas Greco (may not be a real person)

Here's a question; if they have these great conglomerate partners just waiting to be announced why did they have to make their own crypto exchange to create volume on the network?

>14 billion volume

Attached: 1.jpg (600x338, 32K)

Kelvin David and Thomas are not needed anymore because the research phase is mostly over.

Because the ultimate goal of the OMG network is that the one buying can pay with any currency and the one selling can receive any currency (for example you can pay in LINK and the seller receives korean won) and this is not doable without a DEX with a high volume. And those great conglemerates will only use the network if it saves them money, they aren't willing to invest money to develop the network (for now). Global Brain recently invested in Omise Holdings which is managing the go.exchange though

If we get 0.3$ per year per token in 2020 I would be fucking ecstatic

What's Omise's yearly volume again? Think they said it was in the 7-8 figures exactly 2 years ago in the first ad they made about the project. Today they have a more substantial percentage of the market in Thailand - and conglomerates etc are not counted in here

I kinda agree. 2020 is probably gonna be bread and water. But I'm here for the main course. $14 billion (based on bearish crypto volume) is just the soup and salad. The main course is forex markets. Trillions in daily volume. Stocks and bonds are dessert.
Don't fill up on bread.

Yes this is what they said, but not all of the Omise volume will get integrated into the OMG network. (at least right off the bat)

So, I'm not entirely sure what the demand is for decentralized oracles to process data. I do know how much merchants and traders are willing to pay to move their $ around.
