I did the same. I was a hair away from clicking the sell button about 2 days before my ATH, but I didnt.
Personally, it was because it didn't make sense.
I had 3 options :
- Cash out to fiat and lose 70+% guaranteed
- Use Tether and put a sword of damocles over my own head, risking losing everything
- Waiting it out.
Of course I waited it out. Bear market was far worse than I thought, but that's how it is. Life's a bitch.
Next time I'll be ready, and there'll be lots of trusted, superior stablecoins, so I can store my wealth without being taxed.

didnt have chance to sell because im in crypto since january 2018 (lel) but reading some of the just i would fuckin kms. I have lost everything but at least i know there was nothing i could do.
