crab edition

Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

me can believe SMG saged
its been almost year since that happened

pen this your fault -_-

All I did was talk about averaging down and how people shouldn't admire Baggie's trading strategy because it almost always with BTFOs you instantly or leads to losses in the long term

Pretty good 12 month run. Been pulling back into cash recently (currently at 20% and want more) because I’m biz’s favorite professional investor and my clients have literally been dumping their painstakingly designed diversified portfolios and buying index ETFs.

In my experience clients always buy what they WISH they WOULD HAVE bought and sell what they WISH they WOULD HAVE sold. So now we pull back and wait and see who is smarter....me or the normans

So consider this a “word to the wise”

Sleep deprivation fucking me over. Binance refreshed last night while I was trying to set a sell order at 23 and sold my bag for 18.

>NEW YORK, March 29, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tyme Technologies, Inc. The warrants will be exercisable beginning six months after issuance at a price of $2.00 per share of common stock and have a term of five years commencing on the date of issuance. JAGX (meme stocktwits stock)
That's what I'm looking at for next week. I'll probably buy EYEG monday.

This curse of hindsight I have.

Robinhood is fine as long as you aren't putting your life's savings into it

I use it but need to switch. Its costing me money. I've shit the bed on so many trades this week because no level 2/live charts

etrade for long term stuff, ameritrade for degenerate gambling. if you're only slinging nickels, use robinhood so you don't pay $12-16 per round trip trade

that's pretty much it. everyone is running software to either accumulate or distribute, and that software does its best to fight off the HFT scalpers. those 100 share blocks are not in the order book for long. this is why level 2 hasn't been useful in 20 years.

ally invest.

FIDO - their pricing improvements really add up when you move thinly traded securities at size.

Note that this brokerage doesn't like you trading stocks priced under $2 and will charge you 2 cents per share in addition to the usual fees.

If you're trading stocks under $2 you're doing it wrong.

What the fuck did I just watch

there are some decent micro-cap biotechs under $2 (VTGN, SESN, LPTX)

>not buying biotech with 10x upside
Behold, the eternal poor.

>buy 100 shares of X for 1.25

>buy 1 share for 125

Pretty big difference when you gotta work for a living

Already up 15% on NIO calls

Were goina make chink bros

WTF!!!!!!

75% of my portfolio is under $3. :O

Why the fug would you buy nio calls

nothing wrong with 5 dollar stocks

Penny stocks are just gambling, if you want serious investments to maintain wealth you'll have to look elsewhere.

TYME - hmm, might pickup some shares monday. $1.76 per now. The consensus seems to be $10 per in the next few months. A nice gain in the making.

Okay guys so I'm dipping my toes in with 1k. Done some reading, watched some videos. How bad did I fuck up?
I have a small position in DIS, T, TSLA, SBUX. I'm certain DIS and T are gonna do well because they both have media coming out. TSLA was really down for a while, but they have a new car coming out and it seems like a good time to get in. SBUX has pretty much not stopped growing overall for a while and seems like they will continue to make some good decisions, not to mention they are one of the leading Sip providers.

>bitcoin finally crashing

Kek

You did ok. I'm in T myself. Hold on to him. Let his fat divvy keep you nice and warm when your an old man. The key is to buy on the "dip" so you can buy more with less capital. Also use drip to increase your share count/Divvy payout by almost 2x for free.

Because everytime I mention NIO I get comments like yours on the reddit and Jow Forums. When a company that produced no cars till 2017 and delivers over 10,000 premium ev suvs in a year is considered a scam by everyone yet valued much less than canadaian weed companies. Thats the biggest buy signal

>tiny pullback
>crashing

COPE

>Was at 3800
>Is at 4040
You high?
Yes. I have nio. But options on nio is dumb idea bud, tell me why would I try gamble instead of buying ADS itself.
Pretty dumb picks. You should be fine

My grandad was pretty big on investing, hope he'll be proud.

every bit I make from options I just sell and reinvest in shares since its cheap. But the stock has been bouncing off its support of 5 dollars so I don't feel options would be too bad rn.

See you st 2k

I bet you're the kinda guy who doesnt invest in Domino's before the superb owl

OH NO NO NO

Attached: bearfag cope.jpg (1615x921, 107K)

Ok but NIO is ADS... That's a risky option play, what's your strike?

youtube.com/watch?v=DtUm1-3BTbM

You guys think cronos is going to see a dip in their stock tomorrow? This thing is insanely overvauled but people keep buying every fucking one of its dips.

I think the company had a revenue of 6 million thats fucking pathetic for its multi billion valuation

4.5 4/18 calls

Wait for under 1.5.
The SP usually falls to the price of the offering and then some because of panic

Hope so. Theta decay is fucking my 17.5 put. I think the 18-17 dollar range is the bottom. It's overpriced but dudeweed investors are too stupid to care.

dont be too cock we should actually get a pullback next week, its just not now for this delusional fellow
well good luck, it's just my understanding is there is no floor to Nio since its ADS
>U.S. dollar-denominated equity share of a foreign-based company available for purchase on an American stock exchange
so if yellow men want to devalue yuan tomorrow by 10% nio goes -0.5 usd minimum as a result if I understand this correctly

>Penny stocks are just gambling
Only when you buy simply for TA reasons.

Maybe you should just go back to discord, leddit, or wherever it is that tripfaggots go when they can't cope anymore.

>>it's literally impossible for the stock of a promising business to trade under $2
not what I said. There could very well be very promising businesses, but finding them is a random crapshoot.

Going to the casino monicas, wish me luck

I need a good stock for 1-2 month gains. Has to be a stock I can use my RH margin on. Any tips?

I lost $175 on options on a $2000 account. Should I be feeling down about this?

And another aspect of this, this randomness is not just in the process of finding a good company, but in the process that creates a successful company as well. The only way to have any modicum of stability is with an economy of scale and being too big for people to just shrug off your absence. Before that point, the sheer number of variables which could cause things to go wrong is staggering. If there is something about a company that makes them so promising that investing in them is worth it despite all that, then they'd almost certainly be worth more than 2 dollars.

Lost 1000 on a 15k
It's fine, go all in on a biotech 5 days before a catalyst and sell 3-4 days before said catalyst.

This is the way to give birth. Lying on your back in the MR is the most painful way to give birth and it leaves you exhausted afterward.

As you can see here, however, the girl's fine. Her face is ugly, her teeth look stupid, she's never heard of Bate's eye exercises so she's wearing ugly glasses, that braid is atrocious, and she probably owns a trashy shirt with rainbows and a horse on it, but she's moving around just fine. No C-section and no lazy doctor who wants you lie back because he doesn't want to put a strain on his own back is ever really needed.

Except baggie, obviously

maybe, but freshly splatted out babies usually look all fucked up so maybe not

>Started investing 2 days ago
>Newfag so only began with $150
>Have only made $2 so far
Is this good progress? I literally have no idea what to expect. I've only bought into NOK and DF so far and I only bought into them on recommendation from an user here.

hard to tell, Apple is now banking company now
approximate that to annual and realize youre doing much better than any money managing fund out there. That being said, I dont expect you to keep doing this good for long

Pretty similar desu

I seriously can't believe that no one ever mentions Alteryx on here.

Im thinking about long GM

The watch was pretty innovative. Wearables were a joke until apple did them. Same with tablets.

Big trade war and recession risks

Do you think JPM will destroy it's dividend on the next crash again?

probably stillborn, it came out with a blue face and the umbilical cord wrapped around its neck

Air Pods are amazing too.

So after going through this thread I have come to the conclusion that we aren't going to be talking about stocks..... we are going to be talking about tripfags... don't mention stocks in this thread guys.. if you aren't talking about tripfags you're in the wrong thread

Imagine holding BAC in 2008 lmao

talk to me about dividend growth real slow

Yeah I wish I could just invest in airpods. I see everybody with them now opposed to before the christmas season.
they've also pioneered bluetooth headphones of other brands into the mainstream

yeee thats a thing, it trades at what 6 PE rn? Ridiculous for car company, recession, demand drop sure lets say they sell half cars they do, now its 12 PE stock assuming price stays same. With divvy of 4% and most importantly their investment in automation... Im not sure if its a bad buy

JNJ really is the king of dividend growth. If you go into dividend growth investing, and the stocks growth doesn't beat JNJ's 6% yearly for eternity, just don't fucking bother
PE doesn't matter, the entire auto industry is priced at that. They don't grow their dividend. The only reason to buy GM is their E-car sales, which Honda does better. You are continually proving to be an idiot trip.

Dividend growth is more important than yield... You'll have huge yields and massive capital appreciation in 10 years.
Feel free to go with VZ's stagnant yield though
