the names NYN NOT nazrin!!!!! edition Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
my friends in smart meals general, i have a question: i ran out of oats, but want some oatmeal i have coarse bulgar think that would make a good substitute?

It's chance for cheapies this time. They'll try to QE their way out of recession again, it'll work for some time causing more troubles. That's when we fall so hard market won't be full of cheapies anymore. It's going to be full of priceless shit

THREADLY REMINDER THAT DIVIDENDS ARE YOUR FREN
KO dividend comes today and it brings the first of this year's with the increase.
because you continue to reinvest, buy more shares, then reinvest the higher dividend to buy even more shares while the dividend continues to increase and outpace inflation where you use the increase to buy even more shares and then boom - compounding interest makes you a millionaire

>how red are we going to b tomorrow You guys will be donating blood and selling organs, I'll be driving one of my lambos to the pier to board my new yacht.
Redpill me on stop loss orders. I often try to set a stop loss when I've made a decent profit, but want to keep holding so that if it starts going down, I can still keep a little bit of the profit. Every time I set one the price crashes right past my stop loss and my purchase price and my shares get sold for a loss. Am I getting bogged, is robinhood just shit like I expect, or am I just retarded? I guess I could help this by just taking profits sooner, but some times it should make sense to hold.

Thanks for the good advice. I think that's the only sane choice. I was secretly hoping for an amateur TSLA analyst to convince me that musk's rap about harambe was a good sign for deliveries last quarter. But oh well, time to sell.
Just bought the DF dip we're going to 3 again Guaranteed

Wow this much gains just for shilling a P&D on the chans?
Camden Richardson
you can set multiple stop loss orders. for example 25% of shares at a price 5% below current, another 50% of shares at a price 9% below current, the last 25% of shares at a price 12% below current price. Just an example. The real issue with RH is that if you have those SL orders set, if you want to limit or market sell you have to cancel the SL order(s) to free up the ability to sell the other shares

using a stop loss can be an inelegant way of managing risk but it is a useful feature under the right circumstances. If you're getting stopped out too much it's not robinhood's fault, you need to make sure your stops are at levels you're happy with.
John Butler
compounding interest works faster than that. I should reach one million in investments within the next 10 years. 30 years if I do nothing, 10 years if I continue to invest properly

So glad I liquidated my portfolio last week. I'm okay with missing a few percent gains for an opportunity to buy the -50% bottom. Look at the euphoria and "new paradigm" nonsense in this thread. It reminds me of Bitcoin at its peak. Economy is a bubble that cannot be sustained for much longer.

Greetings Jow Forums. I downloaded Robinhood and started messing around with penny stocks, not having any real idea about what I'm doing except what I see here and on YouTube. Bought a couple pharma stocks (JAGX, TROV, EVOK) on Monday having heard they'd have FDA trials of new drugs today, which would drive the prices up, and just sold today. Plus a random share of Office Depot that I got free for signing up with the app. All told, I started with 13.50 and currently have 13.93. How did I do?
