Schools are useless

Why do we learn nothing useful during 1-12th grade?

Nothing but GE classes

They end up graduating NEETs with no skills to be an employee nor to start a business. All those years just to graduate without being an expert in anything.

What kind of retard thinks that's okay?

And half a bachelors... are more fucking GE classes. Are you fucking kidding me????

What kind of dumbass actually thinks GE isn't cancer?
Schools shoild try to make people that can function in the real world. Instead they create a bunch of useless low skilled workers.

What the flying fuck...

It's not the schools, normies are legit retarded. I only remember learning new stuff in the 1st and 2nd grade and until 12th everything is pretty much on repeat. For math, you add and subtract and call things x instead of 3 and use use real numbers instead of blocks for areas in math, straightforward shit in science if you have basic language and math skills, p.e., etc.

I wish I knew better, I would've just studied autism mode and skip every grade but ultimately it's not the school's fault, it's just how it works

experts are cucks

>just become a tradie retard or a tech bug person instead

No.

It is the schools fault, what the fuck. You even pointed out their flaws without realizing it. It's as you just said. Schools are in "repeat mode". Just repeating the same worthless bullshit over and over.

Yes, you're right. Let's just create retards that can't do jobs.

schools are designed to produce lemmings. lemmings are required for society to function.

That's a sign of a failure as a society.
>we need retards to keep the machine going!

Honesty, I don't necessarily think "only the best should survive". Not at all, but a society that makes the game rigged and gives you very little support to obtain a decent living is a failure.

It's to get the goyim ready to work 9-5 for the rest of their life

It's not, actually. That's basically my point. Schools don't teach you skills to be employable in the first place with GE classes. The most they do is get you used to waking up early.

Smart people don't work at all though.

Dude best thread I've read all day..
All school is, babysitting children of slaves. Training for slavery & learning to fit in, So we can all be the same.

That was my point too

*lucky people
I'm starting a business soon and talking to a mentor and going into an orientation. 8/10 businesses fail within the first 5 yrs they start because they don't attract enough business. This part is the luck based part.
Sales is the blood of a business and sales is largely luck based when starting out. When you can't actually forecast how many will want to buy your product/service.

Schools fucked me up and I still haven't gotten over it. Any anons have advice?

Oh no Ms. Tannenbaum is going to put red squibbles all over my essay because I missed a comma and I used the incorrect word! I have to reread my e-mails five times now because I might make a grammar mistake or leave out word and sound dumb.

Oh no I used a reference photo when drawing that commercial illustration and that's bad and means I'm cheating. And cheaters get expelled! And now I'm spending twice as much time drawing something to avoid being seen as a dirty cheater who takes shortcuts by some talentless hack who couldn't made it and went to teach instead.

It's really hard to shed what has been drilled into you for 16 years.

I think the only thing that schools are universally good for is teaching people to read and write and some basic math. Everything else is specialized and isn't really important unless you want to enter anything in the field of science.

Other than that, I think school is good for keeping kids off the streets and giving them some structure in their lives.

i like this postđź’Ż

To domesticate you and prepare you for a life of wagecucking

The school system should only have 10 grades.

I had to relearn math to prepare for my engineering program.

Throughout high school my teachers just passed me through and were too bitchy and annoying to seek help from.

I condensed 13 years of math education into 2 months of intense study. I worked through a precalculus and calculus 1 book.

Do you really think you even understand calculus or do you just know how to do the problems? For me, i don't know why i do advanced math but i know how to do, i just don't understand what i am doing or why i am doing it.

They were mostly right besides the part where they didn't blame schools when that is literally the problem

Yes. Just learn the proofs and how to derive the theorems.

Math and english is alright. The rest is garbage. I would say by the end of 8th grade, GE classes should no longer be forced. In other words, people should be able to go to college at age 14 and graduate at 16-17 with a bachelors

I think girls should only be allowed until grade 8. Guys grades 10 and then have a trade stream and an academic stream. Also have gender segregated schools and promote homeschooling up until grade 4.

Yeah, this makes sense. Who the fuck makes up the rules for the education system anyways??

School is useful in:
>Conditioning you for obedience and wagecucking
>Profiting on tuition and sports sales
>Keeping you occupied and off the streets/making trouble
>Creating a somewhat exclusive social network for you to find a mate
We can't outright say these things in public because they're not socially acceptable.

You assume schools exist for educating the next generation of children as their primary purpose and not as an institution to employ 90-100 IQ useless morons.

Nothing you said is all that uncontroversial.

College should be for the top 10% and free.

An obsession with following standardized testing, and "preparing kids for college" (and everyone HAS to go to college to be successful), has led to this. Practical classes getting gutted.

Since the dawn of civilization, powerful individuals have controlled the stories people tell themselves about who they are, who’s in charge, how a good citizen behaves, what groups should be loved, what groups should be hated, and what’s really going on in the world. When you study what we call history, you’re mostly just reading the ancient proto-propaganda of whatever kingdom happened to win the last war during that period of time. When you study what we call religion, you’re mostly reading stories that were advanced by ancient governments explaining why the people should be meek, forgiving taxpayers instead of rising up and killing their wealthy exploiters.
This continues to this day. We fill our children’s heads with lies about how the world works, how the government works, how the media works, and, on a deeper level, how their own consciousness works, and the entire process is shaped to funnel power toward the people who control our stories. The modern schooling system was largely formed by John D Rockefeller, widely considered the wealthiest person in modern history, in order to create generations of docile gear-turners for the industrial plutocratic machine. Modern schooling is essentially mainstream media in a building; it promotes authorized narratives day in and day out to ensure that children will have a reaction of cognitive dissonance and rejection when confronted with information which contradicts those narratives.

This funnels the populace seamlessly into the narrative control matrix of adulthood, where childhood indoctrination into mainstream narratives lubricates the way for continual programming of credulous minds with mass media propaganda. All the print, TV and online media they are presented with supports the status quo-supporting agendas of the same plutocratic class that John D Rockefeller dominated all those years ago. This ensures that no matter how bad things get, no matter how severely our spirits are crushed by end-stage metastatic neoliberalism, no matter how many stupid, pointless wars we’re duped into, no matter how much further we are drawn along the path toward extinction via climate chaos or nuclear war, we will never revolt to overthrow our rulers.

>and that is your redpill on how the education system is broken, useless, and why its designed to be that way and never change into anything truly useful

If only 15 year olds figured this out.
>We fill our children’s heads with lies about how the world works

You are right.

Lies can console you, you have to understand it. In fact lies are sweeter than the truth.

Gautam Buddha is reported to have said: Truth is bitter in the beginning, sweet in the end, and lies are sweet in the beginning, bitter in the end - when they are exposed. Then comes a tremendous bitterness, that you have been deceived by all your parents, by all your teachers, by all your priests, by all your so-called leaders. You have been continuously deceived. That frustration brings up a great distrust in everybody. Nobody is worthy of trust... It creates a vacuum
