I sold my buttcoins few months back or weeks I dont remember, I shorted on those red massacre days and went out, I just couldn't handle the stress and most of all, constant anxiety monitoring the charts.
So today I wake up to this green dildo and the entire morning I'm on the fucking calculator.
> if I just bought XY amount at 3500 and went long easy, 5x, I would have ____ now
> if I just went crazy, 20x long at ____ I would be at ______ now
On and on and on. I know these predictions are retarded and it's easy to be "epic trader" when the movement already happen, shoulda woulda shit everyone can do it...but still...the pain of missing out itches still...
Just don't keep trades open too long. Or, if you're a professional, write a trailing stop-loss script, it's easy.
Juan Lewis
Idk mate i had 14 whole bitcoins back then all i have left is 0.06 btc from the bloodbath i dont even feel pike trading even if i did a x10 I'd only get back to 0.6 which is extremely disappointing

>How do you hold an appreciating asset patiently without gambling it away to the square root of fuck all, user? Degenerate gambler KYS. How are we supposed to dab on boomers when you're over there making us look bad?
Jonathan Young
hi noob. fortunately, crypto is still in the bottom range. It's nothing but 10-100x baggers from here.

Buy back in. It's going to go 20x more. Don't be so deluded over 30% loss that you lose the perspective.
Kayden Moore
This. Is it weird I watched this entire move up and didn't feel one shred of FOMO? I've trained myself to only buy when there's blood in the streets. Hodling a quarter coin from 3500 and I'm thinking of selling it.
Kayden Ortiz
if you think like that then: you could have bought amazon at 3$ you could have bought apple at 4$ you could have had a thousand BTC from just a GPU and an electric generator that ran on the heat of your own piss. you could have bought ETH at 6 cents you could have bought X at X and so on, and so forth, until you really could have had ALL the money in the world if only you could see the future. but you cant, and nobody can.
this being said however, there is an asset in this world at any given moment that is the cheapest it will ever be, and most of them cost food, water, time, and a little bit of gumption. you are not a gambler, dont be. if you want to mitigate regret, diversify. Stocks, bonds, crypto, yourself. If you want to go all in on something, go all in on a dream. Because it is the cheapest it will ever fucking be. You know who really won? Mark zucker, jeff bezos, bill gates, and maybe even fucking Sergey Nazarov. Becuase they invested in their dream, when it cost absolutely fucking nothing.
my honest opinion on BTC? buy a few quality alts and sell in early may into tether, and buy back at the end of the month.
Joshua Perez
I feel like all successful traders end up with this mentality if they survive the gauntlet of losses and are still in. If you're more stubborn than you are emotional, the emotions get beaten out of you so all that's left is logic.

kek i started with 6.5 btc and now have 23 after 1½ years of trading. i can imagine people losing money in this market, since the profits have to come from somewhere. but there's no fucking way you lost 99,5% of your stack
>successful traders >gauntlet of losses is everybody here retarded and losing money?
Ryder Morgan
i Just never sell simple as that
Leo Jones
Yes, and those who aren't are lying.
Leo Garcia
Do you swing trade on higher time frames like 4HR, a bot, or? Can you kindly suggest some info on how your trading style is?

i'm just pumping shitcoins or buying into shitcoins that are already pumping. i never trade with leverage and i never put my btc into shitcoins for more than a few days. last month i made 3 btc on the enjin coin pump even though i sold way too early. i join 2 or 3 shitcoin pumps a month since i don't have time so be sitting on my pc all day but it seems like i'm still more successful than many oh these adhd leverage daytraders
that's a great sentence ranjiid, i be you took a lot of time building it

I wish i was larping mate i did lost more 99% of my folio, in my defense i started out with 0.03 btc as a neet, more than 2 years ago and went up to 14btc, but that was when i was a jobless. My folio went to shit when i started wagecucking as a web dev last year and i had no time to update delta every 5 seconds and watch news 24/7. I had 20k x 14 once around 300k and lost it all to wagecuck in a job that pays me 1/10 of my folio per year i deserve it all theres no bigger justed in this place than me, just fucking kill me
Leo Reyes
ahh takes me back to summer 2017, that was pretty much my strategy, turned 0.1 btc to over 20... too pussy to do that these days, made a lot of money and too scared to lose it
Angel Fisher
Yeah, you shouldn't be in here at all if you can't left the past behind you about a few thousand bucks.
Good riddance for the market. Although, it's people like you that will make us rich
Christian Wood
yeah you missed out a bit the last months were good, but playing it safe when u got a big stack is the best thing to do imo. i'm thinking about just putting my btc on cold storage and letting it chill yikes but if you never really had those 14 btc (if you didn't sell your shitcoins when they mooned) you shouldn't count it as losing 14 btc, that mindset will only make you depressed
Oliver Bailey
In ofher words, you are betting until things go sour. But you will learn soon enough.
yup that's the reason I still have my gains unlike 90% of this board, but at the same time I COULD have made much much more. I'm happy tho
Justin Bailey
Idk mate It feels like i lost alot of money although i never realized it by cashing out it still feels like i lost alot Experience is a double edge knife tho
Ayden Moore
Ah I see. You in pump group? It’s hard to tell for me when a shitcoin is going to actually run or dumps after 10-15% or so. And by the time I spot something pumping, it could be too late. Is there a time frame or indicator you look at to see if the shitcoin pump is going to go? Or is it based on some kind of fundamental (like enj was the Samsung partnership which is pretty pump worthy)
Mason Collins
it's all luck mate
William Hall
Yeah, and if you bought lottery ticket with 23 123 312 332 12 you would win as well.
Zachary Ross
>Experience is a double edge knife tho It's sword, and you're wrong.
Tyler Lewis
i was once where u were OP. i decided on some point, -to not be totally full of regret- to buy a certain amount of bitcoin and just fucking hold them no matter what. cause once you're deeper into the topic you know this shit will go only go up over time (of course when it goes to fast it will crash down but overall this goes to 100k+ per btc).
buy a certain amount of btc and only sell little increments of it when you need to. buy and hold nigger.
Angel Foster
i've been in crypto for 3 years and i'm pretty good at assessing if something is severely undervalued/overvalued. i always exit the trades too early but that doesn't mean it's not overvalued. people are just stupid and the hype lets them buy at stupid prices >It’s hard to tell for me when a shitcoin is going to actually run or dumps after 10-15% or so things like ICO price, all time low and volume can tell you if there's whales with huge bags that are about to dump to some extend. >based on some kind of fundamental this doesn't happen too often, but when it does and the coin hasn't really pumped yet, i go in big with conservative targets
