I wish I knew fren. I'm a good trader but a terrible investor. The extent of my HODLing is coins I need to trade with or pay fees with.
My numbers are a little weird cuz I uninstalled blockfolio long ago when the market just got too depressing to look at then I installed Delta a few days ago and manually entered everything in. It'll take a little while for my percentages and stuff to look right.

I had 1 Million dollars ATH and I think my BTC count was like 80 BTC because I went all in ICX at like 4 dollars with 300k or more srs

Then I proceeded to lose nearly all of it

Now I have like 72k or so aka 15BTC

Serious question for all the poorfolio fags in here. Where the hell have you guys been the last year or so? Why haven't you been accumulating at these ridiculously low prices? I started with 0.6 btc in January of 2018 and now I have 47 from just grinding and accumulating every day. Don't you want to get rich?

No better time than now to start work on what will make others jealous in the future. I remember back in 2017 gazing in awe at blockfolios with numbers I never thought I would achieve. Of course 30 btc in late 2017 was a whole different ballgame from 30 btc today but still.

You probably don't want to hear this but it's too bad you don't trade on Exmo. EOS dipped to literally zero 5 times in a row when that Korean exchange got hacked. I made a mint on that one. Literally went all in at the bottom, sold the top, went in again with new gains on the next dip, sold the top. Got 3 rounds out of it and 65x'd my Exmo stack.

Sometimes yeah but in this case it was mostly that the hacker moved most of the EOS to Exmo first and just dumped super hard. The guy had like 20 million dollars worth so he would have ate through just about any book. My thing is I trade on as many exchanges I'm bound to catch stuff like this from time to time. It was glorious. The guy ate through the entire book, let it build back up, did it again and again and again. It happened over several minutes and anybody on the exchange could have gotten in on it.
After it was over Exmo froze my account and said I was inadvertantly involved in "fraudulent cross-exchange activities". I went back and forth with their support over the course of the next 24 hours, went to sleep and when I woke up my account was unfroze. I then moved most of the funds to binance. Welcome to crypto

Sounds shady, and those sorts of scenarios aren't exactly commonplace. I've been flipping shitcoins on Newdex for half a year and have never seen that happen before, even with coins that exit scammed.

That guy is probably going to get a knock on his door pretty soon too unless he's lucky enough to live in some backwards shithole like Kenya.

Heck yeah, it's shady as hell. Come to find out the guy that hacked the EOS from bithumb was an insider so I'm sure the Koreans know what to do with him. Me, I just play the game as it's presented to me. If I see a chart with a coin I know to be a good coin dropping to zero I'm buying. This strategy has served me well.

unfortunately it is. losses from this year cant offset gains from last year. losses from last year will rollover to this years gains however
