Let me make sure I am not flagged as a rule breaker. I am not asking for help starting a business.
I am an achiever. I like to struggle. What kind of business is hard to start up, and has a low startup, but can lead to success via hard work?

sell drugs
Contractor
T shirt printing, if you can design a cohesive brand and style that people like, it takes like $100 to get started....and a shitton of work. You are the graphic designer, acquisition department, sales rep, marketing team, accountant and legal team...basically it's a lot of sleepless nights getting set up
This shit sound like fun.. I'm gunna do that!
kinda this, depends on the drug
definitely this
this is like telling someone to become an artist to be wealthy because art is expensive
it's possible, but jesus, not a very helpful answer
and he picked it, welp, good luck OP
oh shit. Did user give me one that won't lead to success? fuck that.
Oh, also, already a contractor. That's why I didn't pick you.
Shit is hard yes, but it tends to cap. Cap high for sure, but does cap.
well shit, if the cap is too low for contracting, what kinda cap are you looking for?
Uh, it's not about the art, it's about fashion - the clothing industry, like food or construction, is one of those markets that everyone with a hard work ethic can make money in. People are never not going to need clothing, so there's always a market for it. And the flashier the clothing, the more it stands out.
That being said, not every clothier has to be flashy to be successful. Going back to the food industry as an analogy, for every box of cereal with a cartoon mascot, there's a box with just a picture of what's inside, and they make money just fine too. So it's something you don't have to be the best at or the most iconic to make money in.
So basically, it's very doable.
It's not low. It is a high cap, but I'm looking for a a business that I can atleast be laying on a death bed of money. You don't really get to stop or slow down as a contractor.
He does have a good point. A picture of a fucking Tiger in a forest is not needed, but clothing is. Plus alot of people with tiny dicks, need clothing that cost $100.
I agree it's doable as well, but to say selling isn't the same as selling art (both mediums dependent upon social standing) then I just flat-out disagree.
>people are never not going to need clothing
so sell t-shirt brands? I guess as a start, maybe, but he'd need to diversify/capitalize on trends asap
Kneepads.
True.. I buy from wal-mart... I mean, I guess design isn't needed, just following trends. (which I do right now as a marketer) I mean. Supreme looks ugly as shit, and people buy it.

They take some momentum to get going

Towing fatties around the summer months
I started my own tutoring business biking to student's homes. I had some that were as far away as 15 miles. I am making about $700 a week now after a year.
Are we talking pod here? Also, do you do this?
Yes and yes
Hard work doesn't produce success. All the best startups stole most of their ideas and/or had virtually unlimited funding. So basically get out there and jack someone's idea(s) while sucking up to rich people.
What's harder, keeping up with changes and design flaws with pod (in my case printful) or marketing ie instagram to you?
This guy does make a good point... It does sound like it will suck... I think I like the clothing thing the best so far...
Finding the time to market it and keeping pricing competitive. Also Printful is eh, PODs that let you do all over printing is where your creativity can really shine through. I go with SKYOU, their design tool is godlike - for the higher cost, I can create really great designs
You're fucking great user. I've been tunnel visioned between printful and teelaunch. Thank you
restaurant, obviously
My pleasure! Always glad to see someone else in the business!
