Do successful people have a different brain in that they enjoy work more than recreation? They all say they love what they do. How the hell can Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Trump, Oprah etc. love being at an office when they can literally retire on a personal island?
Even their recreation is productive. Never seen Billionaires stare at screens, do drugs & jack off all day. If they have fun it's healthy things for the brain like golf, boardgames, cards, banging celebrities.
Are Millionaires and lower, just degenerate hedonists? Humans are the only animals who do pointless recreation. All other animals' play is practicing hunting/fighting, running, sex, etc.
I think they're just addicted to making money or doing things that make money by chance.
Levi Bennett
>Do successful people have a different brain in that they enjoy work more than recreation?
Yeah that's the thing. To become one of those people who becomes Buffett/Gates/Musk tier you need to be a workaholic. So the answer to your question is essentially yes.
Jayden Baker
Dumb. Better to pay taxes and retire with the billions left on some island, than deal with business fags and have a few more billions
Jason Wilson
They got rich by not chasing the money. They chase the feeling of providing value. Acquiring money does nothing to satiate this drive. Why would they stop.
Christian Phillips
They are just wired different.
Lucas Williams
It becomes a different game at that level. The work might not even be quite as taxing desu. When you secure billionaire status you can get away with playing reputation games to scale your enterprise further instead of soul crushing work wageslaving. Clearly certain people like Trump seem to thrive from having enormous amounts of power as well. It's as if his body is almost nourished by the increased stress and responsibility whereas a normal person would be crushed by it. He fucking LIVES for making deals. Probably the only thing that makes his dick harder than Stormy's big plastic tits.
A lot of rich people got where they are by providing value to the world. Not sure why you'd want to stop doing that. It's a good thing
Zachary Miller
Because they're not really working. Its an ego thing. They love being worshiped. Trump for example barely works at all. He wakes up at 10:00am and watches TV for two hours before even leaving the bed room most days. Warren buffet hasn't "worked" a day in probably 50+ years. There are hundreds of ass lickers in line eager to do w/e they want.
Joseph Long
hedonism leaves you feeling empty
Andrew Brooks
>wired different >gee whiz guys success is only for people “wired” a certain special way Are you a woman or just raised by a single mom? Who says this shit? Kek.
Ian Flores
It's like runners high on an extreme level. The feeling of being on top is the best feeling in the world. The feeling of winning. It's not so much the power but the satisfaction of being a winner. Trump has 40% of the populations loyalty and admiration. He also has the drive to prove the 40% that hates him wrong. Then there's the 40% in the middle that are on the fence.
You don't become a billionaire by doing soul crushing wageslave work to begin with. Billionaires got where they are by working smart, not what the average person would define as "hard".
Christian Gonzalez
Also think he loves trolling his opposition. So they just call shots. Still better on an Island, paying women to worship you. They are faggot Makes more sense lol but how long you wanna fry your brain
Nolan Howard
You have to like what you're doing to get to that level, once you've got it down you've got it down so well that making enormous money feels almost as natural and easy as breathing, as you get better and better your craft gets simpler and simpler as the world seems to get more complicated and confusing, eventually you find sanctuary and escape in your craft. You'd do it around the clock if you could. You're always thinking about it. It's comfortable. The island you'd retire to feels like part of the illusion that is the world, but when you're making money, when you have that singular, certain purpose, that feels real.
Connor Perry
Most "self made" billionaires inherited hundreds of millions from their parents. If they weren't stupid or unlucky, then they eventually became billionaires.
Joseph Phillips
It doesn’t feel like work if it’s something you enjoy.
>A lot of rich people got where they are by providing value to the world.
That depends on how you define "value".
Look at Mitt Romney and tell me what value he added to the world? Ripping apart perfectly viable companies and extracting as much wealth as possible in the shortest time possible.
Even Republicans had trouble stomaching what he did for a living.
Cameron Walker
lmfao the absolute state of Jow Forums
Kevin Moore
To be a billionaire your mindset is different. Autistic, almost. Hence the no fun. These people are obsessed with progress.
Jason Scott

Its really just all in the mindset those individuals share; they're as hedonistic as the rest of us, just they recognize different aspects of what it means to be human and find value in furthering those aspects. Read Ray Dalio's "Principles" and I think you'll get it, or if you want to really dive deep into the philosophy of being a "great man" better get reading Marcus Aurelius' "meditations"
Do you not know how american politics work? A president that doesn't fucking kiss up to Israel's will end up deader than Kennedy. With the GOP its "Our greatest ally" and with the DNC its "REMEMBER THE HOLOCAUST!". At least bother to understand this.
>Hence the no fun. That's a laughable idea; truly high achieving individuals get exponentially more enjoyment out of life than the average shmuck
Jose Turner
I also would recommend Principles. Dalio's lifestyle is definitely one worth replicating and I have every intention of creating a company whose atmosphere mimics Bridgewater Associates. It's probably the SJW's worst nightmare of an environment because whatever you say it's going to be challenged so you better know your shit or they're tear your logic apart.
Jonathan Hughes
That's not what I'm saying. They don't get the same kind of jollies out of sitting on a beach all day or doing drugs and being a junkie. Their pleasure is derived from working and building stacks. Lottery winners will go and blow it all on bullshit because they're idiots and degenerates by nature.
Matthew Morris
Because billionaires are mostly normies, the sociopath kind, they need to dominate other people and you can't do that staying by yourself on your private island.
Jordan Smith
> Dumb. Better to pay taxes and retire with the billions left on some island
the rich use businesses to disguise personal expenses as business expenses. that means every dollar they spend is a write off (meaning they're getting a free 20-30% discount). the businesses also exist to launder money so you don't actually pay on the money's growth. when your wealth is in a large enough sum, hiding it this way is paramount.
sounds like you're into this wealth worship that deludes people into letting the rich stack the deck in their favor (creating these tax loopholes, for example).
this is true. buffet-sama does not work. but he DOES love markets and spends his time studying and teaching for pleasure. LIVING THE DREAM.
Adrian Wilson
You don't get to that level when your end goal is to give it all up and jack off, you'd stop at the first few million if that was the case.
Cameron Russell
a billionaire is someone who didn't stop at 1 million, not 10 million, 100 million...

I feel like the Left is becoming very much anti-Israel, at least some of it. My understanding has always been that the Right is owned by Israel and the Left is owned by the Diaspora, and sometimes these two Jewish groups have conflicting interests.
Carson Anderson
Billionaire here ama. I attained my wealth by creating value to the world and helping people. My value creation service is a Ponzi scheme.
Landon Wood
Who the hell wants to live on some bullshit island? There's no hustle there. I'd shoot myself in an hour.
Ayden Allen
Who? Every crypto guy here wants to never work again
Hudson Lewis
That's because they're wagies so for them lying on a beach sipping pina fucking coladas is perfect bliss.
Logan Price
T. Only person here who really understands it.
Gavin Allen
I think they have ambition and striving to do things in their business etc. is fulfilling for them. The NEET mindset loathes work and challenge in general, and views money as an escape, but this isn't the case for billionaires etc. (caveat: minecraft's Notch)
So you “work” when you click buy/sell button? Why would any billionare retire. Poor people retire from wagecucking. Billionares allready are retired. They arr just clicking buy/sell from time to time to get that andrenaline kick.
Blake Myers
Billionaires don't exist, they're fake, they serve the purpose of making you think two things: 1)That you can actually make it (which is true, but you won't make through financial gains) 2)That people with more money are special or better than you (wrong, they're just jew/masons) 3) That money is important (wrong, the only important thing is praying God through his Son Jesus) 4) That the system is working (at least for someone), so it doesn't need to be purged or changed
