What are you, a 3 minute time frame with Stoch RSI Patrician?

I trade the weekly. I'm not interested in the soup and salad. I swing the meat and potatoes.

Your charts don't matter. It's going to go back to sub $4k levels by the end of this week.

So the chart does matter because that might be a right shoulder forming

Nice chart user, you draw like my son

Ugly as fuck h&s and on the hourly. Chances of success: 2%

Did you mean your wife's?

How do you trade BTC or other crypto? The margin requirement to trade BTC seems outrageously high with brokers i've looked at. Or are you just using marketplaces like coinbase or whatever?

I trade crypto on Bitfinex. Most here trade Bitcoin on leverage with BitMex. If you're not a US citizen, there are CFD brokers out there that offer BTCUSD, ETHUSD, and LTCUSD derivatives with good margin requirements but the bid-ask spread is wide.

Yes I'm from UK. Thanks for the info. I'm lurking ITT if you or anyone else has any additional info to share on how start trading crypto.

yes, lurk moar and stfu.

FXCM UK, IG Group, Pepperstone, IC Markets etc. all offer derivatives on some cryptos. For you a spread betting account is better for you than a CFD account (because of the UK taxing system). But remember that the bid-ask spread is wider than an actual exchange.

Why so bully? What the fuck is happening to biz lately?

Yes I actually have accounts with a couple UK brokers but the requirements are horrible, see pic related. I was just wondering if there was a better way.

Don't think you can find lower, you just have to lower the trade size per point. The new regulations on margin requirements in Europe are harsh. Your best bet is an Australian broker like Pepperstone and IC Markets. You should see the CME margin requirements for BTC futures lol

Yes the ESMA regulations meant I had to stop day trading lol. I was going to open an account with IC Markets but realised I would probably be tempted to over leverage anyway if I had low margins so I haven't. Do you ever just buy and sell crypto through an exchange or is it better to trade it via derivative with leverage, even if trading costs are high?

Through an exchange yes. I short via margin on Bitfinex though with 2x leverage. I don't trade crypto a lot desu, I'm more into currencies.

Meat and potatoes once a week doesn’t keep you full, but my soup and salad every other hour does
