The actual 168 original contributors don't care about the price of the token because we contributed because of the dividends that LinkPool would offer from the staking dApp and their NaaS services (specially the later). We didn't even know that we would be able to trade it in form of a token later.

If you buy at current prices it's probably because of the staking priority rather than the passive income. The biggest contributor (140 LP shares) owns 4 million LINK. So eventually we will reach 28,000 LINK per LP share as staking allowance.

People without shares won't be able to stake for a long time (>1 year) and since running a node is really hard you probably want to own some LP to have you Link staked for you.

You don't seem to understand the Linkpool's target.
