There’s a real anti-BAT sentiment on Jow Forums. I get the feeling even the jannies/mods here are anti-BAT based on my recent bans — I see people posting off-topic bullshit all the time but recently I’ve gotten a couple of bans that have me wondering if it’s because I post about BAT a lot.
Anyways, this token easily faces the most resistance out of all the non-scammy cryptocurrencies. Whenever there’s a post about Brave/BAT it’s met with so much debate and criticism. I think that’s a good thing — shows it’s groundbreaking and people hate any form of change. It helps that BAT isn’t some vaporware shitcoin too. The fact that it has a working product behind it worries some people who see it as a threat to their shitcoin of choice. There’s something to be said for BAT though, I don’t think there’s any token/coin out there quite like BAT.
