I'm not in the true wealth bracket. Family networth is only 50 mil across a few generations. That's mostly in assets. My brother's family is 500 mil liquid on the low end. Totally different world. Dinners with presidents, royalty, UBS showed up to family events, etc.
School is basically a medium for finding suitable partners at both levels of wealth. The difference is that I might meet the daughter of someone that owns a large business on a city or state scale. Someone in my brother's family will marry someone that with Parents that hold a respectable stake in one or many industries or states.
