This is their chinese blog, I found it just to check to see if their site had broken links without content, I doubt a pump and dump scheme would go into that much detail. Unfortunately I don't speak chinese but it looks like if you see the website in the perspective of something like twitter they have nearly 11k "headfans" according to the hyperlink? This is kind of odd, because it seems like this is really popular in China. Interestingly enough the website Weibo that this blog is hosted on has increased in value over 300% in the last 5 years on the boomer stock market and is currently recovering from a crash. On Twitter Fantom has only slightly more followers at 12K but since it's an english site there may be a large percentage of foreigners there too.

Here is a list of their developers with links to their LinkedIn accounts. I've randomly selected about 6 of their "platform developers" and looked at their backgrounds, only one of them mentioned the FANTOM project and he has a PHD in Philosophy.

Now this in of itself may not mean anything because let's assume most of them don't update their social media accounts. My first post wasn't even an attempt at research I just thought it was funny that there were literal pajeets in the comments of the video displayed on the main page. The CIO Issac Lee has recently updated his profile on LinkedIn as the founder and CEO of Blockwater Capital as of Jan 2019 and his education background is a Pharmacy dropout at university of Illinois.
