You will be rich if this was a starter and you will go for a 6 course fine dinner by doing dollar-cost averaging (DCA) and pouring regularly money into BTC. If you are a bit smarter you can be more patient and wait for dips. Daily trading is probably very profitable for pro traders, but it is also more risky and you keep paying expensive trading fees and you will probably buy high and sell low because of fomo/panic mechanisms.

If you don’t know exactly what you are doing, buy also 32 ETH, and don’t sell the BTC.

It is also mandatory to keep it offline, if you think you can keep it in Coinbase and be safe, you are really wrong.

I dont want to constantly monitor and second guess, so if btc or eth dips by say 5% is that enough to pull the trigger?

5% is not enough, BTC is very volatile.
A -20% over a 3 days it is a nice dip.
Something like: at -10% you have a leg down, expect one more and than buy.

That will be about $2-3,000,000 of bitcoin and $1.5-2,000,000 of eth in 3-5 years. That's in current USD value, after inflation it will be many magnitudes more.
