OP here. ETH is going to cool off for a few hours. I don’t expect much for losses($177-$179), so selling at this moment probably wont help you. If I had to guess we will have another solid pump around 7-8pm central time. Possibly to $190 and beyond, but close at the very least. Will update the thread if its still here when the time comes.

Really hard to predict long time frames like that because there are so many variables. The US government could outright ban all cryptocurrency tomorrow, then we are fucked. I dont think thats likely, but its could happen. Barring some insane market shifting event, yes. ETH is a good long term investment.

Here is something maybe you guys could explain to me. How can such large sell offs be so wrong? This is a much larger sum of money than I have and it was sold at a pretty terrible time. Surely this much money cant be this bad at predicting the market, but here they are selling at $178 when $190 is right around the corner. These people should really just let me make the decisions for them. I have yet to be wrong.

I just use the chart for whatever exchange im trading on, or the app on my phone. You dont need fancy software, MACD and candles are enough in most cases. Not all, but most.

This has to be bait. Blockchain tech is in its infancy. Of course there will be bumps along the road. The main reason its going to take off is because its value is backed by data and computational power, compared to fiat which is backed by nothing. The last time a country switched from fiat to a currency backed by real value it ripped that country out of the worst depression the world has ever seen and they nearly took over Europe a few years later. I will let you guess which country that was. If you dont see the correlation here, thats your loss. In 10 years I bet your crypto wallet will follow you on any internet connected device, accessable only via biometric indicators. Lost funds will be a distant past legend.
