BCH Thread

Bsv is the original protocol
>node subsidies
>block limits
>malleability fix
>Non Pow consensus (UASF)
>Substituting off chain for on chain (lightning network, LBtc)
>censorship and mass downvoting of dissenting opinions on r/bitcoin

Blockstream

>node subsidies
>block limits
>malleability fix
>Non Pow consensus (arbitrary, centralized block validation every 10 blocks, avalanche)
>Substituting off chain for on chain (Wormhole Cash)
>censorship and mass downvoting if dissenting opinions on r/BTC
ABC another blockstream company

>What are BSV pros?
blocks seasoned with curry

Bought one for suicide insurance, does that count?

BCH has no reason to exist. if you want small block raspberry pi go with BTC. if you want big block metanet got with BSV. BCH has less reason to exist than Litecoin at this point

Larger OP returns
Lower fees
Bigger blocks
Higher transactional throughput
Permission-less (ABC allow roll backs i.e. censorship)
Economic equilibria maintained (ABC has centralised checkpoints)

Why would anyone buy bch when compared directly to ethereum? Is there any chance bch will perform better then ethereum in the future?

Normie adoption. BCH is much easier to use, and Bitcoin.com is the only crypto-org seriously focused on making their coin useful to the dumbest of normies, and onboarding the most merchants so it's easy to spend. This has a run away feedback effect as more and more normies and merchants come on board. VHS vs Betamax . It's not always the best tech that wins, what matters is distribution effort and ease of understanding. And trust, the fact that it is old tech means it's robust and safe.

If im holding BCH on bnb before fork will i get equal amount of forked coins

There won't be a secondary coin.

This is like when ETH hard forked in March, no new coin was created.

Price typically pumps prior to the fork

BSV/BCH going into the sewers,
no miners support,
shared hashrate between the remaining desperate miners,
some gonna cry when thoses forks will be 51% attacked.
