If it's written on a newspaper it's already old or fake

Realistically, what would happen if China clamped down on Bitcoin mining?

I'm a bit of a brainlet, would fees/confirmation times go up? Wouldn't this open the door for more mining in the United States/elsewhere because of less competition?

It doesn't seem like it'd be a bad thing at all.

bitcoin will become more decentralized

Oh my sweet summer child....

just as mining operations are all but discontinued with prices of bitcoin at staggering longtime lows, also with citing pollution as main concern doesn't bode well for the future of this crypto. Good news is alternatives will easily fill the void, like Holochain will be ready to step up to the plate with a real asset backed currency by the time this starts expanding to include other countries

Searching for a new place to move bitcoin... Unplugging all those miners, moving them and seeing up downtime.

I think to cover costs and avoid possible financial cash flow type issues they're going to have to convert a lot of coins to fiat

Unironically bottom was in Dec, we bull now until 100k btc

I don't read ideological papers

Hugely bullish.

Rich Chinese men close to the political/media zeitgeist are trying to push the price down before early May.

Expect some major bullish news in Q3.

So what is an example of a non-ideological news source? Of any kind, that you use? Or maybe you don't trust any?

Source?

>Holo is asset based

Source?

Chinese mining costs increase (currently they get subsidies). That means selling coins to cover operating costs.

They also have a horde of coins and the price is up from the lows. Utility costs are expense line items so is downtime of they have to move miners. Relocation is extremely expensive. They will have to find a market that has all the favorable conditions, which will be logistically and financially difficult. China processes 40-70% of bitcoin Tx so this has implications for transaction time, network security, and of course, price support.

HoloFuel will be backed by computational power with practically an unlimited supply

There is no non-ideological news source. But NYT or CNN are so radical that I ignore them by default.

crypto is unironically better without Chinese scammers. just bought 100k.

Hoard*

Realistically in a best case scenario BTC will be used as a legacy tech that is sometimes used for very high value transactions due to the network security.

>he thinks the new york times is still credible and not a transparent front for the intelligence community to run propaganda on its domestic populace ever since Smith-Mundt was "modernized", with the majority of the decisionmakers directly employed under the supervision of an alphabet agency
God you're a fucking retard
