The market should show my stocks more respect edition
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
Why come PayPal and Visa and my good fren GREENDOT (GDOT) get dabbed on today?
Did square do dis?
Michael Bailey
Hope everybody bought the healthcare dip since Bernie will never be president, Medicare for all will never be a thing as it makes no sense financially, and the Democrat party is killing itself anyway.
Gonna learn how to in to fibonacci retracement. This is the one popular TA dealio I haven't put in depth research time in to yet. Will see how it does for me on simulator...
Oliver Reed
I dcad down a bit.
Wouldn’t it be nice if that were really the reason behind the selloff?
Kayden Hernandez
I can buy it, mostly. Bernie is the frontrunner and a legit threat to win the Dem nomination. He makes his intention of killing healthcare known.
The market gets spooked by any threat. I really hope people were this stupid this time. They've proven to be capable of it time and time again.
Ryder Ortiz
ARQL the new YVR(for now)
NEON
Thomas Baker
Bernie won't win the primaries. Elizabeth Warren will be the dem candidate. 50/50 between her and Trump being reelected.
Charles Ortiz
This better be a shitpost holy fuck you’re so wrong
She has no chance. She not only lost her peak popularity of a few years ago, she didn't raise that much, and her key Wealth tax proposal is as unworkable as anything Bernie has proposed. You can't take constant snapshots of everyones wealth every year and not expect them to move it all overseas.
Jack Collins
Trump can't lose. Dems are a shit show. They dug their own grave using niggers.
Isaac Hall
THREADLY REMINDER THAT DIVIDENDS ARE YOUR FREN
Get fucked, fake divbro. Posting the div KING, CLM, because I know you don't have this pic. Who wouldn't want to spend $12 to get 19 cents a month for forever?
Why the fuck am I not rich yet why the fuck did you lie to me /smg/
Anthony Roberts
>tfw I didn’t buy the veristem dip this time
As much as I want biotech to moon, our shit healthcare system is a bloated drain on the economy. And I’m going into medical testing for a career, but we all know there’s a lot of unnecessary medical screening that goes on just because the cost gets forwarded to the insurance company.
Bernie won’t win because he’s Jewish, and warren probably won’t win either.
But single payer would likely be a net win for the economy and national productivity.
But it means there would be no breaking bad.
Henry Perry
Holy shit, this day was exciting and fucking stressful. But I never had this much luck.
I wouldn't underestimate her chances. Dems have a strong voting base that will vote for her regardless of what her proposals are (and also womyn in power), and Trump managed to piss off a lot of people with his trade wars which managed to do fuck all so far.
Ryan Gray
Lol
Hunter Ramirez
The Dem voter base is fracturing irreparably. She's white. And gay men have already been added to the list of honorary straight white devils. White women are next.
Evan Wood
>19 cents a month forever i like how you dont even acknowledge the dividend cut mid-year. also it was trading at $15-16 last year in April, meaning everyone who held it has lost moneyr. congrats tho
Joseph Peterson
If you'd ever interacted with a female irl for an extended period of time you'd be able to spot the extensions.
Weed's a bubble, and unlike Bitcoin, it's popped for good.
Nicholas Garcia
Nah, not yet. I'll see how it developes further. The stock has been on the decline since it came on the market, now out of nowhere when it had calmed down a bit a big danish investor buys a huge chunk of stocks. I think it will rise even further. But don't know, maybe I'm too greedy.
except the market overall is expected to increase year over year
Thomas Jenkins
>it's popped for good.
Not even close. Weed has been due for a blowoff since late January. Only thing that has changed in the last eight months or so is the tendency to have extended distribution phases after the peaks, as opposed to selling off straight to oversold immediately.
Carter Russell
Considering that western countries become more and more degenerate, I'd say there could be a lot of potential.
Aaron Rogers
This fucking market is like a kick in the dick. I think I fucked up by not waiting for cheapies to get cheapier and waiting for too long on other cheapies.
>Tfw no RKGf to let me smell her hairs
Evan Brown
Thanks for the (You) bro, it's all I really wanted.
yeah but people are delusion if they still expect it Canada to be the powerhouse when the market finally grows to the inflated values that its market cap expects
Andrew Fisher
>$4 by end of next week Fucking better be.
Aaron Sullivan
Absolutely true, which I was I have been avoiding Canadian small caps since Canada went officially legal. The only two currently in position to capitalize instantly if/when US goes federally legal are Canopy and Cron due to heavy investments from Constellation Brands and Altria respectively. Canopy have also already started moving in to the US hemp market. I think the idea with that is to have facilities built out and running so they can start growing cannabis right away if the legal climate allows. As Canopy is a Canadian company, it cannot legally sell cannabis in any legal state while cannabis remains federally illegal. It can sell CBD extracted from hemp though.
David King
>Gundlach: It’s funny, people make these statements that the stock market is booming. In fact, it’s not really going anywhere
Prove him wrong. Pro tip, you can't. I'm selling everything tomorrow. SPY will finish red by EOY.
I need one more pump before I FUD out. Not sure what to do about my biotech hopefuls though.
Juan Taylor
Canopy Growth being added to the S&P/TSX 60 on Thursday. This means some index funds are required to buy Canopy stock starting that day. It's possible (I'd say likely) this is the reason for the sudden wave of media fud about weed stocks this week.
did you at least set up a stop limit based on how much you want to continue risking? Just modify it day by day and ride the wave up until it plummets and you sell automatically, you got the hard part done already. just don't forgot not to be too greedy on your stop limit either if you want to ride the wave for longer
Colton Powell
N-no way they’d give us cheapies like that! Media can’t be so based?!
Jaxon Nguyen
bondcuck is missing out on the golden bull run and salty
Hunter Wilson
You're right. Will do that tomorrow.
William Richardson
>Market crashes >Volitility crashes Really makes you think
I agree with some of what that cuck is saying. There will be violence and he appropriately calls out the insane elements of the progressive left.
But his electoral college part makes little sense. He doesn't explain how we get to a process of Congress electing a president. What happened to the EC for that to open?
I'm planning on holding anything I have til early or mid 2020 and then pulling out til the elections over to appraise the situation. Trump will almost certainly win anyway as explained earlier in the thread.
Joseph Jackson
Is Tesla stock going to crash now that Elon Musk sabotaged Israel's holobunga memorial on the moon?
Colton Edwards
vix moves same direction as market about... what was it? I read this somewhere recently. It was something around 10-20% of the time.
Elijah Hall
>left runs on platform of dudeweed >trump finally says nah, goes ahead and legalizes it to make it a nonissue Who wins? Just buy MJ
>dems rum on gun control >gun purchases surge because patriotism Buy who?
What?
Lucas Moore
So are we just going to pretend there isn't a fucking disgusting head and shoulders here? What planet do you live on where the market is crashing right now? Also volatility doesn't depend on price level, just how "indecisive" it is, think of it like a measure of the number of inflection points in a time period. So you could have a sustained downtrend to -50% and no rise on the volatility index.
