what if I'm all in Chainlink should I sell for eth and get cozy polkadot fork dots then buy back Chainlink with eth and keep the dots?
Chase Wilson
Can you use real links to real sources, please?
Isaac Phillips
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This is unironically good news for etheruem Everyone is going to all-in ETH for free tokens
Jason Rodriguez
if you don't sell links now then you will get 0 dots brainlet
Jaxon Gray
what real sources? it's a rumor based on some internal happenings. The main site dothereum.net/ has just links to twitter and reddit at the moment. There's this tweet linked to from the reddit thread which suggests that the mod of r/dothereum is Afri. twitter.com/econoar/status/1116480429102526464 The Afri fallout and Parity's attempt at bailout are well known. It all fits in.
This is a chance for 'buy the rumor, sell the news'. If there are no news, well, no big deal.
if you mean people selling to buy eth, there's nothing that makes erc tokens special over any altcoins in this scenario.
Christian Edwards
It's especially bad for ERCs as they are only paired to ETH
Logan Diaz
that's just wrong, eg. link's main pair is btc
Justin Price
woud link be forked too? i dont see that happening since the network is worth something because of its potential size
Samuel Russell
i can't tell if you tards are genuinely cheering for corrupt governance or if you're just trying to push sentiment this fork will be important to drive people to buy eth
Connor Butler
could someone clearly point out what the advantage of the fork would be?
Nathan Ramirez
If they fork eth, what happens to erc 20 tokens? Do they also get forked?
Easton Gutierrez
they dump and become worthless
Robert Miller
I imagine a dothereum fork (if sucessful) causing a pump and dump of eth. The end result of this would be eth valued at 65% of what it should be. Users of metamask etc. Will run into a lot of problems.

>"Web3 Foundation is excited to announce Chainlink’s contribution to Polkadot. Chainlink’s open source oracle system provides smart contracts in the Web 3.0 ecosystem with decentralized oracles that will reliably connect those contracts with key off-chain resources like data feeds, APIs and various payment methods. As part of the collaboration, Chainlink plans to create an implementation for the Polkadot project, making a large amount of off-chain data feeds, various APIs, and traditional payment services available to all contracts on the Polkadot network."
Ethan Gray
right, some of you actually fell for the chainstink meme. so we're going to have a sanjay's vision situation with imbeciles unironically rooting for polkadot. oh joy
Daniel Fisher
it's all just so tiring...
Caleb Collins
So if you have eth in an eth wallet you get air dropped free dots?
Juan Allen
it's more like there'll be an alternate blockchain where entering your private key nets you the same amount of doteth as the eth you own
