Welcome to hell

Linkies? What is this new-age hipster lingo?

Using the N word around these parts won't score you any brownie points. Lay off the racist remarks and maybe you'll get some help. What I'm saying to you is this: Watch your goddamn mouth from now on!

sell b4 your losses get any larger desu

Good quote, will live by this until the day I die
The trick is investing an amount that you're willing to lose B) That's as far as I've gotten after browsing Jow Forums for 20 minutes

Buy high, sell low. Or just hodl, thats all the usefull information you will find here OP.

How can you tell which way the value goes though? How can you tell the difference between a dip and a plummet?
What cryptos do you invest in personally?

What’s the N word? Newfag here.

use paper wallet for long term storage, waterproof the paper! use bip38 encrypted wallets with a 40+char pass phrase! keep multiple copies around print to pdf first keep a few copies print to paper 2-3 copies! don't buy shit like those idiotic hardware wallets! don't keep your crypto on an exchange! never let it touch your phone unless it's pocket change!

stay away from FTM, RLC, LINK, COINMETRO, AERGO, BITMAX, COLX, ETHERBASE

I'm sorry for sounding like a dumbass, but I have no idea what a paper wallet or a bip38 is. I literally just stumbled onto Jow Forums because I was bored, saw a thread talking about LTC dipping and getting in asap, downloaded an app and put $100 in it. My theory is that since I have skin in the game now, I'll be more eager to learn

I'm using Crypto.com

oh and when you make paper wallet create a bootable usb, put ubuntu iso on it (check hash) put a pdf printer driver on the usb also (you gonna have to install it, put bitaddress.org site and bitcoinpaperwallet.com on usb from github (also check hashes) you will have to run this entire shitshow on a freshly booted machine not connected to the internet. once the password protected wallet is generated and printed to pdf and verified, you can insert an other usb device to store the pdf and return to your normal os (scrapping all residue of any unencrypted private key and rng pool from memory)

the pdf is safe enough to keep around everywhere (if you used a strong enough password) takes about 5 secs to try one with the scrypt parameters used the sun will go cold before anyone can guess it even if you use intelligible words only. once the copies are secured both electronically and physically at different sites, you can start sending funds to the addresses filling up your cold storage.

Yeah, I can see that a shitload of people are shilling for Fantom right now. It seems like Ren is already dead when I look at the chart. Mooned in May 2017 at $0.1235 and now it's stable at around $0.02874

Is bitcoin safe to get into? I've heard a lot of people say that it won't go past 6k

>I have no idea what a paper wallet or a bip38 is
the first thing is then to learn about them. altho $100 is a fucking joke now, but btc will be worth $1mil a coin soon enough.

my advice is get at least 1 btc in cold storage .10 btc in every wallet as a suicide insurance. you can fuck around with the rest in online wallets and exchanges if you like that sort of thing.

Why would you buy on a bearish trend you brainlet?

Attached: Screenshot_20190412-175200.png (1456x2048, 508K)

>I've heard a lot of people say that it won't go past 6k
it's possible it will not get past $6k till september. but it will be $10k before the next halving in 2020. and it will be $500k soon enough.

general rule of thumb if you can hold btc for any 3 year period you gonna be alright at worst or making fucking bank at best.

I'm such a normie on this board that I couldn't tell you were shitposting before you posted this
Fuck my life, I'm never gonna make it

Good do yor and make your own decisions. I would argue Ren is extremely undervalued bit I'm invested in it so my opinion is biased whether I admit it or not. Good luck OP, remember when in doubt just hodl btc.

THEY SAID IT WOULD BE A SMALL DIP AND THAT YOU'RE RETARDED IF YOU DON'T INVEST ASAP

Thanks for the advice man

Attached: 811A7187-B269-4D27-AE72-EFD85C677D50.jpg (640x664, 41K)

>I couldn't tell you were shitposting before you posted this
shitposting? this is crypto 101 if you can't make a paper wallet safely you better buy some gold or silver like the braindead boomers.

invest only in newer coins that have not pumped.. don't invest in coins that came out before 2017 that will unlikely ever pump again

why would you buy crypto right before the opening shots of the crypto war 2019

>create a bootable usb, put ubuntu iso on it (check hash) put a pdf printer driver on the usb also (you gonna have to install it, put bitaddress.org site and bitcoinpaperwallet.com on usb from github (also check hashes) you will have to run this entire shitshow on a freshly booted machine not connected to the internet. once the password protected wallet is generated and printed to pdf and verified, you can insert an other usb device to store the pdf and return to your normal os (scrapping all residue of any unencrypted private key and rng pool from memory)

Any suggestions?

you know nothing

Step 2: DON’T FUCKING SELL until dec 20 - gen 22
Step 3: MOVE IT OUT OF THE EXCHANGE
Step 4: fuck jannies

Because I've already made 50 cents you fag B-)

more detailed instructions here if that was too dense, you can also watch youtube videos.
bitcoinpaperwallet.com/

How do I move it out of the exchange? I literally just created an account on this crypto app and bought $100 worth of LTC

I'll check it out, thanks man

but again only if you think in retirement in 5-10 years... if you just gonna buy high and sell low then paper wallets are useless to you.

To be honest I just want to fuck around with crypto and see how this stuff works before I go all in with a huge sum of cash

or you could just buy a ledger nano s for 50 bucks and get it over with

If you don't buy link you're not allowed to post on biz

Look at the charts from 1 month. Normally when stocks moon too fast they tend to go down when the bunny ears pattern forms or head and shoulders. In this case it landed in a head and shoulders. You can't time shit but the head part would have been ones exit

Attached: Screenshot_20190412-180521.png (1361x2048, 324K)

then just put that link away for later use, here is one chart that you should also look at every day

Attached: 1553129131217.png (1142x1171, 189K)

So you're saying that I won't be able to make a viable profit off of LTC?

I'll check it out

So BTC is safe?

Get what over with user?

Not YET. If I were you I would hold for now. It will take maybe a month before it goes back to when you bought. In the mean time, you sound like a newfag to trading. Learn to read charts and learn to speculate stocks. Pic related is more for day trading but I'm my experience it works just as well for normal stocks

Attached: 1_KWZicOxhycA__kmgdx62Nw.jpg (1600x1758, 203K)

>get what over with
Having to worry about paper wallets

>So BTC is safe?
short term? hell no, it's very much possible it will go to $2k or below. may or may not happen, but hyperwave theory and elliot waves also predict it as well as some basic ta and market psychology.

long term? absolutely. when it hits $100k it will hardly matter much if you bought at $3k or $5k. sure everybody wants to buy the bottom but the bottom is only obvious in hindsight. dca into bitcoin so long it's under $10k get at least 1 btc and hold it to $500k or $1mil should happen within 5 years.

check out coins like NAV, ARDR, RDN, BNT, any coin with very low volume has less chance of manipulation

That blue background looks like cuckbase. Cuckbase is the most known exchange to freeze account for no reasons. Cuckbase is also very tax authority friendly, it means even you are not doing anything bad, because of cuckbase you may have extra checks from IRS or EU tax authorities.
Now, unless you are very paranoid and sometimes you need to for bigger quantities, get a paper wallet generator (like a web one written in js), go offline, disconnect from internet, always use incognito mode so if you are not an expert it’s easier to clean coockies, history and ram memory, print your paper wallet and keep it safe, your money are there, you lose it bye bye money, it gets stolen bye bye money.
This paper wallet has 2 qr codes and 2 alfanumerico strings: private key and public key. With private key you own and spend money (don’t give it to anyone), with public key you receive money.
To cash out, move it a little by little to multiple exchanges and send it to multiple bank accounts.

Don't trust Jow Forums, even me!

Baller.

Another user here, thanks for all the info you posted.

Also, do I really need to go as far as to clean cookies, destroying cache, using a second OS if I live in Brazil? I mean, monkeys don't do code, who tf could get my shit?

How can you be sure that it reaches 100k though? Seems like a bit of a stretch, but then again, I'm a newfag

Blue background in the OP?

Thanks man

Literally anyone on the internet you mong. Buy a ledger or get a second computer for storing your crypto. Keep it off and disconnected from the internet, tablets work for this.

USE IT EXCLUSIVELY FOR STORING YOUR COINS. Ideally use VPN, maybe even a hotspot cell network incase people on your network have malware.

Why do you have to keep it off the internet though? What the fuck

Attached: download (1).png (211x239, 5K)

Even though you're rude as fuck, thank you. I'm too afraid to use my tablet for this kind of thing, as I don't trust no android. Let's see if I can find a Ledger in Brazil tho

Thanks for pointing out the obvious retard, it's not like I'm hiding the fact that I'm a complete newfag or anything

quality shitpost

Attached: 1554947053214.jpg (124x125, 2K)

post your email or ip and I will show you why :)

Attached: 1551029443548.gif (640x480, 1.26M)

Also, as I'm already exposing my newfagness, does the Ledger nano S have this kind of downsides like having to withdraw everything from a paper wallet in order to not lose change?

A cheap tablet will work fine in those conditions updated with basic antivirus, if you stay off public wifi and only turn it on to move balances you’re 99% safe.

any wallet program you use will have a 12 word seed phrase, print it out, hide it, keep it safe.

If you’re really paranoid destroy one of the 12 words and memorize it.

That seem better than buying a Ledger to me. I'll be cautious.
Do you have any recommended wallet software for a tablet? Might run a factory reset just to be sure no ching is watching my steps.

Win 10 tablets you can find them on Amazon for like 50 usd.

Exodus is a good beginner wallet, eben lets you exchange in app to a handful of coins (FOR AN EXORBITANT FEE).

But if you were about to shit the bed or something and had to exit NOW its a nice option.

Not really worth replying to hypermong, but because even WERE your device compromised they cant access a non internet connected device can they?

Are crypto wallets prone to get hacked or something?

Exodus see my other post, I’d look for a cheap win 10 tablet, they exist.

Also great idea on the reset caution never hurts.

if you want to check how good your wallet is try this

>What are viruses?

Nabisco got held up for like 500 bitcoin last year soooooo

Well, thanks for the help, mate, I'll be following your recommendations

stop listening to anyone but yourself.
if you'd like to learn something about investing there are books and if you plan on trading there are other books. this whole thread is redundant.

read pic related. it'll tell you all you need to know about listening to Jow Forums

You are going to learn that people manipulate the FUCK out of sentiment to pump and dump coins. I have been here since before the 2017 bullrun and I don't trust anything that anyone says anymore. I'm here for the memes

Attached: redpill honkpill.png (1355x348, 72K)

I have to finish Mein Kampf first:/

I took the honk pill when I dumped money I don't have into some random bullshit

buy raven coin. will make 10x by next week.

np, also buy a few LINK at least.

You had me there

While I was searching for some tablets I thought of virtual machines, will it work?
I feel like I just discovered atoms atm

Attached: 56956475_133547111046711_1918091532074745856_n.jpg (600x600, 37K)

>Also, do I really need to go as far
maybe not but it's kinda fun. i'm currently playing with waterproofing my paper wallets. soaking them in wax is cool makes them absolutely waterproof but a bit see through and changes the color of the artwork. the barcodes are readable without problem tho.

Alright, transferred my Litecoin from the Exchange to a wallet I made on a separate app like an user said
It's been removed from the exchange, but it hasn't showed up in my wallet yet. Should there be any errors if I wrote in the LTC wallet adress correctly?

Attached: E0A861AD-A46F-486D-A40C-7CE5588F8EA9.jpg (1125x1924, 293K)

I guess its too late to tell him not to get swindled by LINK pajeets

Attached: 1548108570610.jpg (1094x821, 335K)

It's Pending, should take a minute or two

Yeah, it said it would take around a day
I was just wondering if it was common that it got removed from the exchange instantly

I'll send you 10,000 LINK if you shit in my asshole while I suck a homeless niggers dick

Every exchange I made was with ETH, but it generally goes like that, it's removed, takes some minutes to go through and after a while the transaction is done. That's my experience.

>Buy ETH on coinbase
>Send to Binance
>Exchange ETH for LINK
>Repeat until you have 10,000 LINK

OP wants to MAKE money, not lose it all.

well he came to the wrong board for that now didn't he

Attached: 1528125934893.jpg (710x473, 80K)

Well, maybe a virtual machine for my wallet won't do much and I'd be better off spending my bucks on BTC instead of buying a Ledger at the moment. I guess I'll worry about this AFTER I have more than a puny amount of BTC on Binance.

Attached: 1554332149238.jpg (360x200, 9K)

I bought my mom 1.5 LTC for Christmas. Cost me forty bucks

I guess you're poor, huh OP?

can someone explain this? i get it's low volume but how can a daily candle close at 1000 sats and somehow open at 1300?

Attached: impossibru.jpg (385x194, 9K)

>Should there be any errors if I wrote in the LTC wallet adress correctly?
uh, yeah the crypto is essentially lost forever. maybe in 200 years someone will make a new wallet that has your LTC waiting for them

actually i have been fucking around a lot with these paper wallets if it's good paper and laser printed it doesn't give a flying fuck about water, you soak it totally make sure you don't stretch it and dry it it will be like new. not sure about mold and things that like to eat paper maybe paraffin wax would be a net good after all. would take a lot of fucking time to test it out.

I get so sick of incompetent women. Let me give you some personal insight on the matter.

I've been with my wife for 10 years now. We met in high school, and I got her pregnant.
She is and always has been a lazy person and a shit cook. I wouldn't even mind eating shit food if she at least made it on time. But she rarely did.

We'd get into screaming arguments constantly about how lazy and worthless she was. I felt like an asshole for it, but goddamn she was a real piece of work. The only reason I dealt with all this was for the kids, and also because the sex is great.

But one night, I got fed up. Not only did she get drunk, neglect the kids, and made me top Ramen for dinner, but she decided to give me attitude too. She was being real fucking bitchy. So I told my grandparents to keep an eye on the kids and told my wife we were going to go out and have dinner together. I drove maybe 3 blocks to a quiet area (we live in Oregon, it's not hard to find a quiet field) and I got out of the car, went around like I was going to open her door for her and let her out, and I just beat the shit out of her while she was still seatbelted. After a few punches, I asked her if she wanted to go back to her parents. She started screaming and yelling and said yes, so I beat the shit out of her again. Then I asked her what she wanted to do. She finally got smart and said she wanted to go home. So I took her home and dared her to start trouble. I even handed her my cellphone and dialed her mom's number on the drive home. I made her talk to her mom, while daring her to fucking say something.

Before that incident, I had never laid a hand on her. But I had always threatened it. I told her "one of these days, if you don't straighten up, I'm going to lay hands on you."

All my meals have been on time, and she just recently tried to make a meatloaf. It was mediocre, but I was just thrilled that she tried.

Do with this information what you will.

problem with virtual machines that keyboard and screen capture of host will reveal every secret you have. better to boot a live os that is mint.
