To give you actual advice, yes. If you want to be conservative and not risk your hard earned money on internet meme tokens then you want to have a Roth IRA. I recommend prioritizing as follows: put into 401k until you get your employer match, max out Roth IRA and then continue contributions into 401k. Ideally you want to max out both.
